Jesus wept, my bloody Facebook newsfeed is full of happy, happy updates about the wonderful, fun-filled day my Mum-friends have had on beaches, in parks, up fucking mountains with their sunny natured and beautifully behaved children.

Please, before I curl up on the floor and start sobbing, somebody tell me that they've been refereeing arguing siblings, enduring endless tantrums, wrestling with over-tired babies, dragging their children home in disgrace from days out? Please? Somebody? Somewhere?

I tried to cook tea, but had to referree too. came in to find ds had climbed up the front of dds high chair, was standing on the bar, handful of her hair in one hand and a finger rammed up her nose on the other. nice.

blackeyedsusan · 20/04/2011 23:50

blackeyedsusan · 20/04/2011 23:52

OP - not a shite day - but not a great one either.
Was on hols for past few days. Left hotel after breakfast, 3 hours travel to get home. Sun beaming in the windows, would have loved to be outside. But DD1 had appt with Peds Dr. this afternoon, so rushed home and missed out on the lovely weather. Thankfully no surprises from latest tests. But will need yearly monitoring thru' adulthood.
Hoping we have beautiful weather again tomorrow.

YANBU... I had a shit day. Went to ER at 4am after a whole day of horrible pain like worst PMS ever. All on the right side so after not being able to sleep, I went to hossie in case of Apendicitis. Turned out to be ruptured ovarian cysts. Totally nauseous on the pain meds and unable to function properly, and it is ruining Spring Break for my family. I cried when I realised the meds I am on for it mean I have to wean immediately - I was trying to wean already, but knowing I never got a one last feed is so sad for me :-(

Hope tomorrow is better for us all.

sunnydelight · 21/04/2011 05:58

Oh just ignore bragbook, half of them are lying and their day is just as shit as yours! Hope the wine is helping Smile

Al0uiseG · 21/04/2011 16:52

Not a bad day but a shit interlude when pil's rocked up out of the blue. I was bikini clad in the garden watching the kids, enjoying the peace when they waltzed through the house, theyre deaf and never wear their hearing aids, they talk shit, repetitive shit and they bore me to tears. I refused to move from the garden an as they're scared of warmth and sunlight they left after tedious half an hour. Of course the kids had escaped by then and I binges on Easter egg and bread.

LaWeasel · 21/04/2011 17:02

If it helps, on tuesday while I was sunning myself in the garden with DD, my grandad died and my sister's flat was burgled.

I didn't put either of these exciting facts on fb.

I also found out I'm PG though, which is very exciting. And the grandad that died was an extremely unpleasant person, of the kind who probably should've been in jail... so. Yeah. Confused

nickelbaalamb · 21/04/2011 17:03

I've had a shit day, too.
Feel sick, feel tired and I feel soooo annoyed with everything I just want oto shout and stamp and scream.

Al0uiseG · 21/04/2011 18:01

Go on Nickel, do all three. Loudly and with feeling :o

Al0uiseG · 21/04/2011 18:03

Goodness I must have been angry when I wrote that rant, it's full of typo's.

Weasel, your poor sister :(

LaWeasel · 21/04/2011 18:42

She is really upset about it Sad Thankfully we think some of her heirloomy stuff is actually still at our parents house, but she lost loads of jewellery, laptops etc. Their neighbours came round and had a go that they were making too much noise when the locksmith was trying to secure the door as well! They were def BU!

Al0uiseG · 21/04/2011 19:41

Bastard neighbours! They could have kicked off when the robbery was taking place!

FunnyBumbleBee · 21/04/2011 19:51

Rubbish day here too. DD 5 months is teething, too hot and refusing to nap for longer than 30 minutes then screaming. Also had a hangover Blush! Early bed tonight!

Should have been a good day, Thorpe Park with kids and ex that I'm about to start couples counselling with.

Turned into utter hell with ex being a stupid, childish wanker and me having to pretend all was happy and nice so the kids had a good day. Home now, have wine, utterly pissed off.

nickelbaalamb · 22/04/2011 11:55

Feeling better today, but on my way to church yesterday evening, I popped into sainsbury's to get a snack (i have to eat constantly at the moment, and I wasn't sure what food would be provided at church {it was aLast Supper thing} ) anyway, I discovered that the reduced section was full of "manager's specials" not reduced stuff. so I went to a girl and asked where it all was, had it moved. No, apparently, they only put it in one section later in the evening, because Central Office rule and they say tehy can't have reduced stuff in one sectio nduring the day. Oooooohh, that tipped me over the edge. I profusely complained to the girl, then apologised ( quite maniacally, i think she thought I was nuts) because it wasn't her fault, then went to the church, saw my DH and burst into tears in front of everyone.

Was made to feel better by the churchwarden who said she threw some very important papers all over the office when she was expecting her first, because they didn't get to her as urgently as they should have done!
