On a talk radio station today the topic was Australia is deporting an English criminal back to England.
This man moved out 40yrs ago when he was 6 and never took up Australin citizenship and now he has served his prison sentence he is being sent to England
Is this the thin end of the wedge. I hope they dont start sending back the descendants of criminals that the UK sent out

If we're going to deport Australians as illegal immigrants then the English are all going to have to be locked up and the key thrown away!!
The irony of Aus sending a convict back to England is, however, wonderfully ironic.

You do realise that England does this same thing?

There are many non English (i.e. not English nationalised) which break the law who are deported. So your title is equally valid if I wrote 'To think the English have a bloody cheek'.

My concern here is your lack of understanding of the law of your own country and the automatic assumption that your country is supperior for not doing it (whatever it was). The scary thing is your country has done it and continues to do it. There are countless examples in the papers.

As another person wrote - pot, kettle, black.

Or if you like - glass houses, stone throwing!

Furthermore, I find your comments discrimitary. You have generalised a person(s) based on their nationality which is illegal in England (and Australia for that matter).
