Yes, DH just said some fans at the match have posted on what happened on 365, Ballotelli had gone over and celebrated in front of the united fans, and the players objected.

And Mancini is VERY easy on the eyes, a bit of a silver fox.

Pancakeflipper you are norty.....

feedthegoat · 16/04/2011 20:20

Erm not sure how supporting arsenal instead of Liverpool is going to help Tidydancer seeing as the other semi is Bolton and Stoke! Bring it on City Grin

WhoKnowsWhereTheChocolateGoes · 16/04/2011 20:21

I know it is sad, I'm not proud of it really, just can't help it.

mankyscotslass · 16/04/2011 20:22

feedthegoat I was just thuinking that. Grin

BTW, love the name....I've sat in the Gene Kelly and sung that song many times!!

MigratingCoconuts · 16/04/2011 20:23

Grin at feedthegoat!

Seriously, don't write off the final yet. I've seen some humdingers over the years between unlikely teams.

ManU bashing is very much alive!

I sang it most of the way back from Wembley last time we were there mankyscotlass Grin. That was pre ds when had the cash for touted wembley tickets. We had to make do with tv this time!

mankyscotslass · 16/04/2011 20:27

DH has promised eldest manky a trip to wembly for the final, it's his birthday!

DH was at that game too!

TidyDancer · 16/04/2011 20:28

Tomorrow, Arsenal and Liverpool are playing. I wasn't referring to the FA Cup.

feedthegoat · 16/04/2011 20:32

I hope they get tickets manky Smile that would be a fantastic birthday treat.

Ds is beside himself. He's only 5 bless him so he is up for a big fall at some point! He is getting a slightly distorted view of what being a blue is all about at the moment Grin

TidyDancer · 16/04/2011 20:33

I'm not a Man Utd fan btw, I just don't like City and can't stand the childish 'anyone but Utd' attitude. :)

TheOldestCat · 16/04/2011 20:34

Your name makes me smile, feedthegoat!

I'm just so thrilled for DH who's been a City fan for all of us his 36 years and has had to endure much United gloating from half of the family (his sister married a red). He was at the game today (and is probably still dancing in the street somewhere near Wembley). Will be sooooo pleased if we win the FA Cup.

(I also have a fondness for silver fox Bobby Manc; so lovely compared to Alex 'chew gum with his mouth open urghhh' Ferguson) . Grin

Pancakeflipper · 16/04/2011 20:35

It's not childish. It's delightful.

MigratingCoconuts · 16/04/2011 20:35

Its childish, its illogical but it brings me happiness!

I hope he gets tickets too...great experience!

TheOldestCat · 16/04/2011 20:36

Agree, TidyDancer - I love City (have had to give in) but have been told I don't hate united enough....

TidyDancer · 16/04/2011 20:36

No, it's definitely childish. :)

pissovski · 16/04/2011 20:37

Another happy Liverpool fan here :)

iskra · 16/04/2011 20:38

I'm so chuffed! City till I die here.

TidyDancer · 16/04/2011 20:39

Exactly, TheOldestCat. It's the weirdest thing, and in most cases it's jealousy. It's as if you're not a football fan unless you hate the highest performing team. It's pathetic.

MigratingCoconuts · 16/04/2011 20:41

Tidy, you are beginning to rain on my parade, stop trying to damped fun here.

OP posts:
SlackSally · 16/04/2011 20:41

I'm not a Man U fan, but I always think it's slightly pathetic to take pleasure purely in your opposition losing.

Sure, if you've just beaten them, gloat away. But what have Liverpool fans got to gloat about?

They're not even in the cup any more.

TidyDancer · 16/04/2011 20:43

Nope, sorry! Grin

MigratingCoconuts · 16/04/2011 20:45

nah, you are right, nothing is going to dampen my spirit Grin

OP posts:
TheOldestCat · 16/04/2011 20:49

Nothing will dampen mine either, Migrating... Woo hoo, City!

(does another happy dance and cracks open a beer)

Tiredmumno1 · 16/04/2011 21:13

Mahoosive liverpool fans in this house (just named ds3 after carra) Grin

So we are over the moon, haha to man u, not so big for your boots now are ya Grin

QuickLookBusy · 16/04/2011 21:20

Well I'm a proper City fan as well so our house is a very happy one at the minuteGrin

Agree their manager very easy on the eye.
