CENSUS...todays ENFORCER publicity. Are they being unreasonable?

There is publicity all over todays papers telling us that CENSUS ENFORCERS
will be going to the homes of people who have not complied.

The tone they take has a daft Sweeney ring. Do the enforcers arrive tooled-up With vans waiting outside the house.

Seriously, it would have made more sense to have female enforcers
with a degree of charm; rather than macho men weilding a bit of temporary.
pocket money, power.

I did note a female "Jil" signed the publicity for the Census/ (The last one
of its kind. some say)

Im doing the census work in NI. AFAIK we don't even have to knock on doors. From the 8th April we will go round houses that have not responded and leave a card through the letterbox, giving information if they need help, they will call us if they need help. then a few weeks later do it again, then again another while later. We just have to drop a card through we do not have to talk to anyone. After the third visit it goes to some where else. No bother at all.
