About the same subjects time and time and time AGAIN would take it to the forum that is related to that subject and stop banging a drum to the many uninterested people time and time again?

OP posts:

you cant mention dogs BitOfFun cos they were mentioned on the other thread about a stranger about to cuddle a poster's baby that had earlier rubbed a dog that may or may not have shit themsevles and given the toddler toximasomethingorother and that would be repeating threads!!

Gemsy83 · 27/03/2011 16:25

Think that if you like Marianne- I couldnt care less! If people are entitled to post gadzillions of threads that bore me equally I can do it! And you are just as entitled to 'not read' this thread if its so boring and idiotic or whatever...

Gemsy - do get over feeling so self important. You post shit, I reply. I certainly don't go looking for you. You can have whatever opinion you like, about anything you like - I'm just not sure why you expect it to go unchallenged when it's obnoxious or rude.... or just stupid?

I didn't say it's boring, it's mildle entertaining on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

MarianneM · 27/03/2011 16:27

mildly

worraliberty · 27/03/2011 16:27

I think when anyone feels like this it's a sign they're spending too long on MN.

Most of the subjects here will be raised time and again..mainly by new posters and yes, the old posters will reiterate what they've said in the past.

It's forum life. Perhaps you should think of something else to occupy your time if you are bored with it? The clocks have gone forward now so with brighter days, you might find a more interesting hobby.

Gemsy83 · 27/03/2011 16:27

Chipping- whatever m'dear!

Scuzy- 'ye' do realise this is 2011 and we are not in 'Olde' English times do you? Or have I missed a 'mispelling words' trend?

scuzy · 27/03/2011 16:32

oh so thats what old english speak is then! duh! lol ah learn something new everyday.

scuzy · 27/03/2011 16:34

FourFortyFour · 27/03/2011 16:37

What the bleeding hell is going on here?

BitOfFun · 27/03/2011 16:41

I am not bored because I am fending off the new puppy from chewing my toes Grin She is unutterably cute.

Psammead · 27/03/2011 16:45

Instead of getting all pissy about it, why not try to address the 'problem', OP?

You could make a few suggestions on site stuff - for example a FAQ section for common post themes, or a better/more prominent search facility to encourage people to look for similar posts before they start a thread. Or whatever.

Or I suppose you could sit around in AIBU spoiling for a fight about it Hmm

MarianneM · 27/03/2011 16:46

It's Gemsy's way of saying: "Mummy, I'm bored!"

NinkyNonker · 27/03/2011 16:47

People obviously aren't disinterested if they are reading and responding. They have the choice not to after all.

If you are talking about bf/ff then many, many people seem to be interested judging by the length of the threads...including you, if I remember correctly?

Besides, I like people who have a passion for something, those who merely pop up and try to belittle bore irritate me.

SoupDragon · 27/03/2011 16:48

Is the armed bloke that's forcing her to read dull threads wearing uniform? Or maybe in a tight vest that shows off his muscles?

NinkyNonker · 27/03/2011 16:48

Oh, and m'dear? On a par with dearie in my book.

Psammead · 27/03/2011 16:48

Steady on, Soupy.

SoupDragon · 27/03/2011 16:50

It is the only mildly possibility on this thread, the Psammead.

LoopyLoopsChupaChups · 27/03/2011 16:50

Oh come on, please someone tell me which thread she's referring to. Is the the smoking dog old lady baby-toucher? I don't see the problem.
