To wish people who like to bore on

About the same subjects time and time and time AGAIN would take it to the forum that is related to that subject and stop banging a drum to the many uninterested people time and time again?

Scuzy- 'ye' do realise this is 2011 and we are not in 'Olde' English times do you? Or have I missed a 'mispelling words' trend?

OP posts:
faverolles · 27/03/2011 16:13

If it is about that particular subject, I agree, it would be better in the right place, and it might stand a chance of not descending into a massive poofight.

SoupDragon · 27/03/2011 16:14

I wish people who bore on about how they dislike X Y or Z about MN would just bog off to another forum. Is that what you mean?

scuzy · 27/03/2011 16:14

yeah your right it is 2011 and not everyone on MN is english! i'm irish and will type "ye" if i bloody well please!!

PrincessConsuelaBananaHamok · 27/03/2011 16:15

hah Soupy as ever is bang on the money

scuzy · 27/03/2011 16:15

roll with the times, YE tit!

ChippingInMistressSteamMop · 27/03/2011 16:16

Gemsy - well, I haven't seen any threads you have started that have been mind blowingly interesting... Hmm

Gemsy83 · 27/03/2011 16:17

Again Scuzy- where did I say everyone was English? PMSL you are priceless!
Soup if people are 'entitled' to bore on about what they please, as am I to say 'IT BORES THE FUCK OUT OF ME'- see a pattern there?

OP posts:
thumbwitch · 27/03/2011 16:17

Well I guess that some people realise that not everyone reads every thread, and that every OP has the right to some answers. IT might just happen to be the case that the OP could have trawled through the archives and seen that there were several other threads about their particular issue, and didn't - but they still need help and advice, so people are going to give the same advice they usually give because most people don't change their way of thinking from week to week, and most people don't have the ability to acquire a new relevant anecdote on a weekly basis.

Sometimes posters do tell OPs to go and check the archives, but that's quite rude too.

No one makes you open any thread, you know.

scuzy · 27/03/2011 16:17

Olde English times???? means nothing to me

ChippingInMistressSteamMop · 27/03/2011 16:18

& what soup said Grin

Scuzy - no dialects allowed in Gemsy land Hmm

MitchiestInge · 27/03/2011 16:18

Scuzy - at least you can string a sentence together that makes sense Grin

Gemsy83 · 27/03/2011 16:20

Chipping m'dear I know you have ishoos with me from god knows when (several threads you've piped up and named me for god knows what) but dude, let it go! I am surely allowed to have an opinion about opinions if people are also allowed to express those opinions am I not? Grin

OP posts:
meditrina · 27/03/2011 16:20

Perhaps this should be in Site Issues?

ChippingInMistressSteamMop · 27/03/2011 16:20

Before I ruled out repeating threads, I'd rule out cutesy names tbh

but LeQueen its hard to type, cross stitch and shoo away her 46 cats away from her MAC while peering out the curtains at the unruly neighbour hood kids plaing football..... give her some credit!

MarianneM · 27/03/2011 16:22

You mean the BF/FF threads?

But Gemsy, you are always there on those threads sounding away? Grin

BitOfFun · 27/03/2011 16:22

This place is going to the dogs.

Megatron · 27/03/2011 16:23

God these type of threads BORE THE FUCK OUT OF ME so, being an adult with a brain, I shall leave this one and read one that doesn't. It's not difficult either. Fare YE well.

MarianneM · 27/03/2011 16:23

Are you a bit bored Gemsy, looking for an argument about...nothing?

ChippingInMistressSteamMop · 27/03/2011 16:24

Oh speaking of which - have you got your new little one yet BOF??
