He has your septic tank in his garden?
I think you've punished him enough Grin Does it ever leak? overspill?
Why do you share so much stuff with your neighbours?

Samay - I dont condone your neighbours behaviour one little bit but it reminded me of when I lived in an upstairs flat next door to a family home with a back garden complete with trampoline. It drove me to insanity - the repetitive thud thud thud - or boing boing boing or whatever you would call a trampoline noise - everytime there was slightly decent weather their kids would be out on it for hours on end. I am a very tolerant person of kids playing especially and noise in general but it was the repetitive rythmic - like a dripping tap really I suppose. Now my daughter who has a 6ft brick wall enclosed garden has new neighbours who have a trampoline and she know has kids and adults heads popping up looking into her kitchen at ten second intervals in any fine weather. Sorry no offence but I am not a fan but would never do what your neighbour did - I tried to sort it amicably.

Sorry - ten second intervals is probably a bit gravity defying Hmm more like 3 second intervals i should say.

Oh dear that is extreme and not like my case at all - which was a full sized trampoline permanently erected right under my kitchen window - and in my daughters case they do - and I have witnessed this adults and all - peer straight into her garden or kitchen and pull faces etc etc think its a huge joke - so two very different scenarios. You sound very reasonable and you have the neighbour from hell obviously. As I say I wasnt condoning his behaviour and I have great sympathy for you - we became trapped in our own homes on nice days years ago when a tenant moved in next door who had a sunny day = everyone wants to listen to my blaring radio compulsion - and it is an awful situation to be in. I guess I am just not a fan of trampolines in gardens from my personal experience. Does your local authority not have a nuisance neighbour diary scheme of any kind if you complain to them - that way if you diarise all the small things aswell might have a stronger case for someone to act.
