They are running the original series of er on sky, fab!!!!!! But anthony edwards so much more yummier (think its the glasses!!!!!)

ooooh I love these ER threads. I treated myself to the ER collectors set dvd for Christmas in 2009 I am currently on series nine just LOVE it it is so great.

Carter is just lovely, George is dreamy and how could anyone not love Dr Mark Greene? I was just not v keen on Luca at all.

Was odd when Dr Greene's daughter Rachel went from being a cute little girl to a horrid teenager seemingly over night - the actresses didn;t even look much like each other.

I remember when I was at uni Friends and ER used to be on chanel four on wednesday evening which was "going out night" so we used to video them to watch the following day.

Weaver and Romano seem much more sympathetic the second time round - I can remember really disliking them but now they seem ok.

There are lots of guest appearances - I love watching out for them. Christina Hendricks was Abby's battered woman neighbour, Charlotte from SATC was in it early on, Paris from Gilmore girls was the wife of the guy that murdered Lucy. Josh from west wing was the father of the baby whose mother died in childbirth due to complications when Dr Greene delivered the baby

I love Susan Lewis' character too, the on and off stuff with het sister etc.

Loving watching it from beginning again.

one of the gues stars was one of the mad men actors - the really annoying smug younger guy? He plays a totally opposite character - an actor who swallows paint

Was really suprised watching the first few episodes how smarmy george clooney was, i think he probably got better, liked the ep where he rescued child from pipe underwater, gripping!

This is so shameful!

It's surely not really relevant whether Clooney is or isn't gay, is it? In simple terms:

• if he is, he isn't gonna shag me
• if he isn't, by a 99.9999% certainty, he isn't gonna shag me and I don't fancy my chances on the 0.0001% anyway

His character isn't gay, although in hindsight that might have been an 'interesting' direction for Doug Ross, but his private life is no more relevant than any of the other actors'.

Water rescue ep was top notch.
