To be unable to make a fecking cake in this stupid rubber cupcake mould thing?

well am I? I got one of those oversized cupcake cake mould things...they feel like rubber but they're not....well the box said to use 2 pckets of cake mix per section...there are 2 sections...the top and the bottom.

I hate packet cake mix so made my own mix using 2 eggs...when cooked the cake sections were only half filled....so today tried with 2 packets of gross cake mix just to see...nah...crap again...only half of each side of the mould is full.

What am I meant to DO! What? What?

I know this belongs in cooking but whatever. I am bitter about my inability to make a massive fecking cupcake.

I want one. I want to decorate it.

Oh maybe I've a crappy sense of smell! Anyway....I an see the the cakes are rising beautifully and smell lovely now...so thopefully they'll have a good shape to them this time!

They've about 15 mins left to cook.

The cake looks great....I will modify the coking times though when I do it again as the haf that went in 2nd took longer to cook...I think the pieces in my cake mould actually old the same amount of mix.

I think it's going to be nice...I let the outside brown atiny bit too much but otherwise it's lovely. I trimmed it and the trimmings were very tasy!

my neice got one for her birthday and said it came with a recipe booklet. the main basic recipe for it was a 10 egg mix. yes, a 10 egg mix. utter shite.

DD begged me to buy one of those. I told her to bog off and am glad I did now.

I am making another though and will put it on my profile on Saturday...I put pink buttercream on the top and left the bottom plain....can't have been ba if it's almost gone!

Ruddynorah nd Netto....it took 7 eggs to fill and Notslimjims recipie is lovely...easy and tastes gorgeous.
