She claims to be 24 on the Masterchef website, and I've heard the commentators say that too. Both DH and I agreed that she is stretching that a bit. Having done a quick Google on her though I think she is more likely to be around 30/31, going on what she said on her Miss World bio (vom) where she talks about her lovely "charity work" and the importance of women being elegant and dignified on the inside. Nothing elegant about my insides - my spleen is as common as muck.

She was a Miss World contestant? Oh god, I'm going off her now. Is she one of those women who will just keep promoting herself in one guise or another until she finally has a centre page spread in Hello?

I noticed that too! I thought it was a very bizarre thing to wear when you need optimum mobility and wouldn't it have dangled fluff in the frying pans?
