Sad

i was getting away with the whole in the calf by wearing black tights underneath, but today, i finally sealed their fate. i spilled bleach on them. would it be really cheap to colour it in with a permanent black marker? Grin

definitely colour in. pound shop sells permanent markers. make sure you hide them from kids though!

BooyFuckingHoo · 21/02/2011 23:25

i think i have one in the house. if not i will use a felt tip until i can afford eitehr a new permanent marker or a new pair of leggings!

I have those George ones. I know what you mean, I wore them to death.

I think they still have them. Next time you're in, buy four pairs.

TiggyD · 22/02/2011 08:21

'Tie dye' them with a bit more bleach?

Or do the thing with the marker.

I once spotted I had a hole in a pair of black jeans just before going out. I coloured in the bit of my leg that showed through. Shock

TiggyD · 22/02/2011 08:24

Why not get the extra extra cheap ones. The type that enable everyone to see the pattern on your knickers. They seem quite popular at the moment.

Tie dye your leggings and wear them with cowboy boots, white T and a denim jacket.

ThierryHenryismyBoyfriend · 22/02/2011 08:33

YABU, all leggings should be banned!

toddlerama · 22/02/2011 08:37

Just to warn you, if you colour them in whilst you're wearing them, you will get a fetching black scribble on your leg...

MrsGrahamBellForTheSkiSeason · 22/02/2011 08:38

They still have them in Asda - £6, and I bought ten pairs last time I was there! Wearing 'em now, and always hen in the hosue - most comfortable attire ever.

I had some great George leggings once but decided to wear them while pregnant and now they look a bit errrm, misshapen. Oh how I miss them.

InPraiseOfBacchus · 22/02/2011 12:38

No, I wear nothing but black, mostly, and have taken to faded stains with pens all the time. Take my advice and buy a fabric dye pen from a craft shop, since any other kind of permanent marker like a sharpie leaves it a funny shade of glossy dark red in comparison.
