You didn't. Unless you actually tripped and accidentally slipped onto a cock that you couldn't possibly have known was in the room. You are the Virgin Mary, it should not have been a surprise, you had sex, yu did not "fall pregnant".

That is all. I thangyow.

I've slipped and fallen on a cock twice now. You'd think I'd have learned!

Mum always told me to pick my feet up when I walked.

Now I know why.

Dawnybabe · 22/02/2011 00:43

My Pils always refer to it as 'being in the family way', he 'got her in the family way'. Oh god I hate hate hate that phrase. They always have that slightly disapproving expression on their faces, like it's a bit shameful.

Can imagine them using it about me. Hmm

TheLadyEvenstar- you really need to get your contraception sorted out unless you want to add all sorts of issues to your situation Sad

ExeterisEasy, it is of course possible to get pregnant whilst taking every precaution against it. No contraception is 100% safe. You do a great disservice to that small percentage of women who genuinely got pregnant against their wishes.

And BoF you should have known doing the nasty would rile people. What you clearly meant was hopping on the bad leg doing the good thing.

"Ah, but falling in love is not a choice, is it? Whereas falling pregnant definitely requires a shag. Agency, that is the difference."

Can you elaborate on the "Agency" thing?

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean...thanks

BitOfFun · 22/02/2011 14:34

By agency I mean being an active agent in your own destiny. On one leg.

TLES- I have no idea. I was quite possibly drunk.

KazBarTFG · 22/02/2011 14:48

Ok, thanks for that BOF. And yes, I agree on the 'agency' part (feels good to learn something new today :))

It's still a little odd that people seem to judge someones intelligence by using the term 'fell pregnant' I don't see anything wrong with it and I'm certainly not a Jeremy Kyle punter (yet anyway)

Oh and pmsl @ "I have no idea. I was quite possibly drunk."

TheLadyEvenstar · 22/02/2011 16:53

BoF ok

Cher87 · 22/02/2011 16:58
