and then get offended and all 'shake the dust off' when they get a lot of Hmm?

It seems to happen a lot, and the latest is one in chat where someone is questioning friends motives for waiting to have children then getting upset that people are being a bit snotty.

Well, am I? Surely it's a bit more reasonable to take a look about before you start with the controversial stuff? They always seem to surprised to be disagreed with!

Ok LaWeasel, I guess it was a little bit of bad form but when a specific thread puts you in mind of an AIBU title it's hard not to be specific.

Apologies if anyone was offended by me identifying (kind of) the poster I'm on about. But my question still stands.
