does anyone else do this or is it just a personal weirdness?

I have a 'sock box' for all the odd socks. There are 3 carrier bags in there. Boys socks, Girls socks and my socks! Means i can pair them up a bit easier. Some haven't seen their other half for years but i just can't chuck them out.

Nice to know i am not alone in this. Grin

One thing I'd like to know is why it's only the whole and fairly new socks that disappear? The old ones with toe holes seem to turn up all the bloody time. Is it some sock rite of passage that the new ones are failing? Do we only see the grizzled Chuck Norris pairs because they're the only ones tough enough to make it through?

I need answers!

I have 2 boxes full. One has black and grey socks in and the other has coloured/character socks in it. These sit on top of one another on the stairs and about once a month or we all play sock snap to see if we can get any pairs.
