Please tell me if IABU and an ungrateful caaah.

My Mil looked after my dc yesterday while I was at work. (DH away.)
She was very kind to do so, I know, but while I was out she took it upon her self to clean my house, including my bedroom!

I feel sick knowing she's been in and seen the, ahem, itemsBlush etc in the bin.

I really feel as a grown woman I should be able to have my own space.

She had pulled up some of my plants too.

To top it off, her friend/cleaner, who she had bought in to help made a bitchy comment about me using polish more often.Angry

My MIL walked in on me and DH (was DP then) when we were having sex once, so it could be worse! Looking on the bright side, you have a nice clean house Grin

QueeferFuckerland · 18/02/2011 14:27

Eeeek, Karma!

Realised last night she had thrown out my Boden catalogue Blush, but left a copy of the Daily Fail* in the house.Angry

*News just in; women cause cancer.

What position Karma?

OP Eeek I wouldn't like that either! I used to live in a flat where we didn't have much room so my kids were always playing in my bedroom. It meant that if any relatives came round and wanted to play with the kids they would follow (or go and find) them in my bedroom. I hated it!

TheProvincialLady · 18/02/2011 14:39

Let her clean your house, but put dirty photos of you and your DH in the places you don't want her to clean next time.

cheekeymonkey · 18/02/2011 14:40

You could always tell her that Cock Ring is short for cocktail ring - very trendy little rubber cocktail ring that is? Good for you to have a sex life with 3 dc!
Polish is really unhealthy on the lungs, was banned from house on advice of hospital when dd born.Damp cloth far more healthy - you could always use an old pair of your crotchless pants!

hymie · 18/02/2011 14:40

Just off to tell wife they sell cock rings in the poundshop.

But will she ask for one though :)

cheekeymonkey · 18/02/2011 14:42

Then throw them in the bin!

HecateQueenOfWitches · 18/02/2011 14:43

looking after your child, while a nice thing to do, does NOT give her the right to go cleaning your house and into your bedroom! And it does not give her the right to bring another person in to HELP her clean! - exactly how dirty IS your house, in her opinion? Shock

cheekeymonkey · 18/02/2011 14:43

Are they in the jewellery section? Or the erection section?

MissyKLo · 18/02/2011 14:44

why was the cock ring in the bin?????????

nenevomito · 18/02/2011 14:44

My MIL came to stay when I was pg "to help out". She did fuck all other than tidy our bedroom and rearrange my cutlery drawer Angry

I got my revenge by forcing DH to ask her what she had done with the vibrator.

MissyKLo · 18/02/2011 14:45

get a lock for your door and use it when she is round

i bet she does know what they are too!

are they any good? the cock rings i mean? never used em

yet!

MissyKLo · 18/02/2011 14:46

you dont wanna know where she put that babyheave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shock
TheProvincialLady · 18/02/2011 14:53

I'm no vestal virgin, but can someone please explain to me what a cock ring does? I get where you put it, but what does it do and for whose benefit (apart from the OP's MIL I mean)?

MissyKLo · 18/02/2011 14:56

hymie

as the honorary man doing the thread rounds this afternoon, methinks you should answer this one...

TheProvincialLady · 18/02/2011 14:59

He's at the poundshopGrin

solooovely · 18/02/2011 15:02

Don't they have a bit on which stimulates the clitoris?

QueeferFuckerland · 18/02/2011 15:06

Hecate-VERY.

She is a clean-freak.
I am quite, um, laid back.

It wasn't that bad considering I've 3 DC, DH has been away for work and I'd had to go to work.

TPL, it was a disposable vibrating cock ring that goes on DHs cock and has a nobbly bit to stimulate my clitoris during penetration.

As you do.

I've had to retrieve DSs shoes from the bin outside too.
God knows why she thought they were rubbish. They were in the garden, but they're his Crocs, and he wears them in the garden ffs.

TheProvincialLady · 18/02/2011 15:10

MissyKLo · 18/02/2011 15:16

so you recommend them?!!!!!!!!!!!!

saffy85 · 18/02/2011 15:52

My MIL often took it upon herself to reorganise mine and DP's bedroom no idea why Hmm I asked her not to.

Got back from a week at my dad's to find all the clothes I'd shoved in bags to go to goodwill were neatly hanging up in my wardrobe despite the bags being clearly labelled "crap for the hospice shop". DVDs had put back differently on racks for some unknown reason as that was where they were in the first place.

Mind you MIL must have been a tad Shock when she opened the drawer under the bed to put fresh laundered towels inside only to discover that the drawer wasn't for that and actually stored our, ahem, goodies. Must have been eye opener for her as DP had recently taken me shopping in Soho. And spen ALOT. She never, ever did any reorganising after that.... Grin

glitzy · 18/02/2011 15:58

Grin loving "suck it up cupcake" Going to use that tonight somehow!
