Ok, ok, before I get flamed I know its the Sun Hmm so it will be a Sun readers opinion Hmm but it just made me angry.

Was reading their story online this morning about Posh and Becks being overjoyed at the fact their 4th baby is going to be a girl and reading all the comments after it. One had the cheek to say something about how determined to suceed they were and if at first you dont succeed, try, try try again. To me thats just offensive and makes it sound like her 3 boys are all mistakes or failures in the road to having a daughter. Im sure childless people who are ttc and would be deperate for a healthy baby regardless of sex would find it pretty offensive to.

I feel like registering to express my opinion, but now that probably would be unreasonable. Grin

I am joking. Dear God.

LadyOfTheManor · 05/02/2011 16:53

Does amuse me, however, that you had to justify your reasons for even contemplating looking at The Sun.

Newgolddream · 05/02/2011 16:59

Ok apologies but it wasnt obvious from your post that you were indeed joking, obviously somethings can be miscontrued. And of ocurse I have to just it - its the Sun lol. Wink Grin

My mum was the 12th and youngest, of 11 older siblings- all brothers! At least the Beckhams don't have to go that far! Wink

Newgolddream · 05/02/2011 17:02

unpa1dcar3r, a football team and someone to wash the kit

Lol Purple, her eldest bro was 36 when she was born, maybe he could've been the ref!
I might add that there were two mothers involved; the first wife of my maternal Granddad unsurprisingly died giving birth to twins- both boys- who also died at birth. They would've been their 9th and 10th sons.
Then he married my grandmother and they had 3; two boys and then me mum! :)
It was all quite the norm in those days of course!

I've not read the whole thread so apologies if someone has already said this. I cannot stand the Beckhams and have no interest in their lives, BUT I haven't been able to avoid knowing that she was pg and that she wanted a girl, which lo and behold it is. Now call me cynical but I wonder whether she had had embryos fertilised outside the womb and a girl implanted?
Sorry if this is distasteful to anyone, but I think that these people are distasteful TBH, and when people with no class have this much money I reckon that they think that they can buy ANYTHING - even if it's the sex of their child.

Newgolddream · 05/02/2011 18:36

feelingsorryformyself, not distasteful at all, it had half crossed my mind to. Obviously gender selection is illegal in the UK (and so it should be except in cases of genetic linked disorders)...but not in the US.
