DD is nearly 7 months and has eczema on her cheeks. Recently I started telling then to stop kissing and squeezing her cheeks as it will make the eczema worse. They are not happy with this and often gives me funny looks.

YANBU.
Your child, your rules.

Will put your advice into practice. My DH and I mostly kiss DD on her forehead. Thanks all.

We've used Just Lavender Cream on DS for years, on his face and the creases of his arms and legs. (There is an umlaut over the u but no idea how to put that here).

It's almost as good as steroid cream, but can be used as often as you like.

Aveeno worked wonders on DS2's skin. He had horrible bleeding excema on his face too. :(

Available on prescription if you have a nice GP. I use it like baby lotion now if he's dirty - just squirt some on a tissue and use it to wipe him clean.

I used some of this on my little girl when she was a baby. It worked wonders.

Oh, and you are definitely not being unreasonable!

YANBU. If you don't want people to touch/kiss/pinch your DD's cheeks, they should not do it. End of.

Aveeno works wonders on my eczema too, love the stuff, especially the blue 'soothing' one

YANBU
The poor little love. My DS had very sore cheeks as a baby too. Sad
