We are getting a dog tomorrow!Grin

Went to an animal shelter today & he is gorgeous.

4yrs old, medium size, grey, brown & black non-pedigree.

Bought a load of stuff on the way back.

Were supposed to pick him up Monday but can´t wait that longBlush

I am very jealous :) we met our new rescue dog yesterday, went back and walked him this morning but have to wait until next Saturday to pick him up, I nearly cried leaving him behind today Blush

Emir is gorgeous, reminds me of PILs old dog who sparked my love in dogs. Enjoy him :)

Aaw he is lovely! Smile

I got a rescue dog and I don't regret it, he had a bit of a wild week about a fortnight after bringing him home but soon settled down again and I can't imagine being without him now.

Lovely name, haven't heard it before but like the meaning.

Aww he is lovely.

LOL at the cat puffing up. Ours did that a few weeks ago when my friend brought her dog over.

taintedpaint · 30/01/2011 20:54

Oh I'm so glad he's home with you!

What a lucky boy!

diddl · 31/01/2011 09:19

He´s had a good sleep last night-not a peep from him.

We were all (apart from teenage son) up at 6 to check on himBlush

Cat got very close & he wasn´t interested, but when we tried to walk him past her to put him to bed she was hissing & grumbling-so the meetings will have to be on her terms.

Oh, i'm blubbing here

He's just like Toby, my cousins dog, us three were inseperable as kids, always getting into scrapes together, my cousin died when she was 13 and whenever Toby heard her name he'd go and sit by the door and cry.

He died when dd was about 2, and she can remember him, lovely mutt he was. [bsad]

diddle - that's a good situation with the Emir & your cat really, at least he's not chasing and she's more pissed off than scared! They might become friendly once she's sure he knows his place :)

You'll have to put some nicer photos of him on your profile now :)
