I have just been asked to leave Starbucks!!!

I am furious!

I have just been asked to leave Starbucks as I was only drinking coffee and not breastfeeding a baby.
Apparently you can only drink coffee in their store if you breastfeed at the same time.

I tried to stand my ground and say that I could drink my coffee wherever I felt like but they said
"not in here, please only come back if you are breastfeeding"

Was I being unreasonable?

I know a tale about Starbucks that trumps all the usual "its full of b/f NCT mums" stories.

Someone I know went to Starbucks with her week old baby, met up with other mums from the NCT group and their babies. She had a secondary PPH in the middle of Starbucks, gushed a litre of blood within seconds. Had to be resuscitated 3x in the ambulance on the way to hospital. Starbucks had to replace the chair, thankfully it was a wooden floor not a carpet!

I was only just able to drink and read this thread but Belfast Bloke's comment ended that. I now have coffee all over my keyboard.
