Depends on the whiskey, American stuff is shit, but then they can't make a decent beer so I shouldn't be surprised that their attempts at Whiskey fail as well.

reelingintheyears · 23/01/2011 00:10

Tired and emotional is a euphemism for being drunk.

lisad123isasnuttyasaboxoffrogs · 23/01/2011 00:19

funny, I have spent years changing the way I write and reading books. Weirdly enough I know when a word is spelt wrong but cannot still spell it right.
My brother and my mum are seriously effected by it, and I know I am lucky that I can get though a lot of things without too much trouble, but it still gets upsetting when others comment.
I also get very angry us many still assume that dyslexia is linked with IQ.
My boss used to go mental at my reports as she never got how I could verbally come across so well butput it on paper for court and it fell apart, by page 40 i lost the will to live :(

I will bow to you o Lisa Queen of MN!
Am impressed by the electric car (not so much the Boden, can NOT for the life of me see what people like in it! Frumpsville Bit old for me...)

Is a fruitshoot where someone has taken the Bad Fruit out and shot it? I can't imagine why anyone would want to drink those but schnapps - ah. Yum. Especially peach or cherry schapps.

Greggs sausage rolls were recently described on here as Satan's todger - probably right! Grin

KristinaM · 23/01/2011 05:38

Lisa, don't let the b get you down

Tis obviously a light hearted thread

lisad123isasnuttyasaboxoffrogs · 23/01/2011 09:55

hahah another woman for my army, you have been converted thumbdabwitch Grin
you will learn to love boden (well the kids clothes anyways) once you have been fully converted.
after much thought I have decided to allow you to have gin too

OP posts:
thumbdabwitch · 23/01/2011 10:01

bless you Queen Lisa - can I stick to the Schnapps though? gin acts on me like speed - I go 100mph and can't sleep!

CockneySparra · 23/01/2011 10:03

Froot Shoots with Schnapps, you say?

LadyOfTheManor · 23/01/2011 10:10

What's Primarni?

thumbdabwitch · 23/01/2011 10:11

Combination of Armani and Primark - designer stylee at chinese sweatshop prices.

LadyOfTheManor · 23/01/2011 10:14

Who on Earth would wear Primark with Armani? Well Primark full stop.

Or have I kinda missed the point of this thread altogether?

thumbdabwitch · 23/01/2011 10:16

Yup! Grin

lisad123isasnuttyasaboxoffrogs · 23/01/2011 10:20

LadyOfTheManor · 23/01/2011 10:33

Yes I thought so.

Blush

I shall just crawl back under my rock.

Al1son · 24/01/2011 10:45

Hey Queen Lisa. Pack it in! I can't hear Jeremy Kyle over all your squabbling!

Now where did I put me pork scratchings?

clevercloggs · 24/01/2011 10:53

yep drive a 4x4 and love it

never heard of Boden, seriously

and lurvvvve value sausagerolls! yay

Shewhoshallnotbenamed · 24/01/2011 11:08

I feel the need for a sausage roll with ketchup (only Heinz will do!)

DD is off school ill so I need junk food to get me through a day stuck indoors with only CBeebies/Disney Channel for entertainment.

Primark - never shopped there, never will and similarly will never shop at Boden. On principle, one being cheap sh*te and the other being used as a gauge to just how middle class and wonderful some are.

(disclaimer - not every Boden wearer is like that, but the few I know in RL are and it gets right on my nerves)

I also don't have a 4x4 but do have a whoop-ass 1.8 turbo diesel focus which I love muchly!

StartingAfresh · 24/01/2011 11:14

Why has this terned into a thread for the defense of dyslexics?

Shayme on you posters for banging on about spelling.

I am neether dyslexic or able to spell. It doesnt and shouldn't stop me from having a voice. Wood you prefer a spelling test at registration so that you and your's can be protected from such sins.

Did you understand the OP? Was the communication affective (ha hope you're eyes bleed with that won)?

If so then the OP has done enough. Leave her alone!

TotalChaos · 24/01/2011 11:16

Yanbu

Strictly · 24/01/2011 11:27

Lisa I know exactly what you mean about swapping words! I do that if I'm not confident on the spelling, it's depressing as you end up not really using the word you want as you don't want to risk looking like an idiot Sad

lisad123isasnuttyasaboxoffrogs · 24/01/2011 11:51

LOL @startingafresh, that made my eyes bleed!
