Twas an Aviva one for life insurance. Family getting ready for holiday, all jolly, then suddenly the dad disappears and you realise he is DEAD. DD was on my lap and kept hugging me when she saw my tears. Anyone else see it?

I always blub at the cancer adverts, they hit a nerve, my auntie died 5yrs ago of cancer and my granddad 3yrs ago Sad

I also cry everytime I see Jim in Eastenders as he looks like my granddad Sad

The dog advert where it says every home needs a Harvey and the little dog packs his case.I have two Jack Russells, one a rescue dog. That ad makes me bawl !

CaveMum · 18/01/2011 18:02

Yup the new Aviva one made me well up.

The cancer research ones always get me.

I also have to admit to crying at the new T-Mobile advert (where everyone sings in the airport arrivals area).

If you haven't seen the full version (it is 3 minutes long) you can see it

I've just watched again and am crying for England!!

When I was pregnant with DS1 I couldn't stop crying over some ad about frozen peas being left unwanted at the back of the freezer.

Can't remember now whether it was an ad for freezers, or peas, or something else you could cook with peas.

But I would be sobbing away every time it came on.

Deciduousblonde · 18/01/2011 18:07

Deciduousblonde · 18/01/2011 18:09

Oh my dear lord I just watched the Aviva ad.

sheesh :(

Blubbing like a baby here..

Hools · 18/01/2011 18:13

The cancer ones always get me. And the John Lewis one with the girl growing up.

And the xmas supermarket ads, where everyone's come home etc etc.

Off to find the Aviva ad now...

southeastastra · 18/01/2011 18:15

i thought it was a bit wincey tbh

Hools · 18/01/2011 18:18

Nope. Not a blubber at that one. I think if it had been another actor, I would have been howling.
I was blarting for most of 'Toast' when Nigel Slaters mother died. Even dh was mopping his eyes....

Remotew · 18/01/2011 18:21

OP saw this ad last night, it's with Paul Whitehouse, am I right? He usually does comedy ads for Aviva, DD and I were saying how awful it was at the end, firstly I thought he wasn't going on holiday with them and that was the joke Sad.

Does anyone remember the one with pregnant women from around the world? There was one in New York catching a taxi to hospital, an Asian woman working in a field then she gets taken to hospital on a moped, an African woman who gets a little lad to walk with her to hospital...

I have no idea what product it was advertising but it always used to make me cry even though I wasn't pg at the time!
