Hot chocolates and with frothy tops and sprinkles and warm fruity scones, homemade Jam and vanilla whipped cream?

They've had a big breakfast of Croissants (massive ones) and then snacks and a huge plate each of pasta, cauliflower, peas and pancetta in a homemade cheese sauce.

I just cant be fagged to cook again, and have no bread for sarnies... its been a long day with earache and two kids who are exhausted and easy to cry.

So, the supper - it was considered ok in the 1940's - will it do tonight?!

OMG - They are fast asleep!!! brilliant! Living room ridy, no evidence of children in there, candles lit, pillows all plumped, drink poured and DVD begining.... they get cream tea - I get early bed time and total chill out - Bargain ;)

Sounded delish. Your kids are lucky.

Sounds wonderful! Mine had sarnies for lunch (we were out) and then toast for tea (bought new 4-slice toaster when out and they wanted to try it)

Must get some veg into them tomorrow ;-)

Things have turned a tiny bit sour - the DVD is 'The Changeling' with Angelina Jolie... was on my LoveFilm rental list

Jesus wept - its sooooo awfully sad and dark! Still watching it, so have yet to find out ending - no spoilers please!

However, kids still in land of nod and I have a nice book to read after this misery film ends!
