I'll breastfeed where I bloody well want when my baby is hungry!

Following on from another thread that got the old cogs whirring, I am always saddened by the fact that some people have a problem with women breastfeeding in public and expect bf mums to 'hide away' because it makes them feel uncomfortable.

I will always bf my baby where-ever and whenever she wants a feed and if someone doesn't like the fact that I am giving her amazing milk with amazing benefits they can do one!

There is being enthusiastic and there is being ridiculous, you know from your language and the tone of your posts you are being inflammatory MsKLo.

Why are you so intent on disparaging anyone that does not bf?

MsKLo · 13/01/2011 22:03

My God MJ! Why were they so against it? How ridiculous! Love the ref to the Virgin Mary! that must have shut them up!

Where have I said anything here against formula feeders?! All I have said is I believe in bf! If people have a problem with me vocalising that is that my problem?! Why can't I be passionate about bf?

for the lovely mrsklo

toddlerwrangler · 13/01/2011 22:12

Oh do get over yourself . You whoop and cheer anyone who comes and here and supports your little tirade of self ritchousness, and then start on anyone who dare not whop and cheer with you.

Just get on and fucking breastfeed, THEN it won't be a bloody issue. I mean, REALLY? Being pleaseed that someone squited someone else with breastmilk? Its a bodily fluid for fucks sake? Would you liek it if I walked up ti you and spat on you? Disgusting behaviour.

Yet you are still here usual

Oh toddler you must be a child - i found it amusing that the lady's bm squirted out that's all

I merely asked some of the people on here are so 'unbothered' by my post why they are still here If they are unbothered! They can stay as long as they want as can you, doesn't bother me a bit!

OP posts:
MsKLo · 13/01/2011 22:23

And i don't start on anyOne who doesnt whoop with me but i will respnod to attacks - nowt wrong with that! Now run along!

OP posts:
toddlerwrangler · 13/01/2011 22:34

Do you know, I diddnt see that coming at all?

A patronising and silly responce that doesnt adress the points raised. The point that BM, a bodily fluid, squirted onto a person minding thier own business. You were PLEASED about the milk squirting, and then you wonder some people arn't embrasing public BF with open arms?

bigbabushkas · 13/01/2011 22:34

Yee gods MsKLo, it is amusing to you, I love my babies milk but if any other child squirted breastmilk at me I would not be overjoyed!

Why an you not just accept that not everyone thinks the same as you? And I agree with a previous poster, you are probably a mum who eyeballs anyone that dares look at you while bf and squares up for a fight re bf and your rights!

Mums bf, mums ff, and having done both with my pfb I an say happily that there is no difference in his contentment/weight/anything else.

You do what is right for your child, it is their happiness that matters, not just making a point because you want to be on your soapbox!

A1980 · 13/01/2011 22:36

That sort of aggressive and rude attitude from the OP doesn't help your cause.

Love the fact you squirted her!^

Enough said really.

MsKLo · 13/01/2011 22:40

You silly women - the woman ACCIDENTLY squirted her milk when she moved and caught the womans arm who went over to have a go at her for bf

Why don't you bother to read the post first!

Of course that is amusing - it doesn't mean I would not be embarrassed if it had been me that had done it!

OP posts:
toddlerwrangler · 13/01/2011 22:44

No sweetie - you are silly. Can you not see its YOUR responce to the accident, and not the accident itself, that is the issue?

Shall we play patronising post top trumps? I feel a hun coming on? Or a dear maybe?

MsKLo · 13/01/2011 22:46

Ok dearie

Keep screeching - it is highly amusing!

OP posts:
usualsuspect · 13/01/2011 22:46

or maybe a passive aggressive Smile

I need to go to bed

toddlerwrangler · 13/01/2011 22:47

dearie - original!

Maybe adress the point now?

MsKLo · 13/01/2011 22:47

If you don't like my posts about bf you are welcome to run along
Or stay and screech away! It's hilarious!

"THEN it won't be a bloody issue"

Unfortunately it IS a 'bloody issue'. Many people in the UK are mortified at the sight of a baby at the breast and feel it shouldn't be done in public. Mums know this and are sometimes intimidated by it.

I did 5 years of bf - never had a negative reaction from anyone, but I was highly opinionated, mature and confident when I had my baby. Had I been self-conscious and worried about other people's views I wouldn't have been able to carry on breastfeeding freely.

toddlerwrangler · 13/01/2011 22:49

Do you give a shit, in any way or form, that your post actively undermines the work many, many women have done to normalise BF?

usualsuspect · 13/01/2011 22:49

Do you spell aggressive like that ,it doesn't look right

"Its a bodily fluid for fucks sake?"

Good grief - it's milk. Like the stuff you have in your tea every morning. Not spunk or bogies.
