To want the people in charge of telly not to make my three year old swear?

I'm sure that the trailer for the new Meet the Fockers (Little Fockers) ought to be on after the watershed. My DS aged 3 has spent the entire holidays shouting "Little Fockers!" and is showing no interest in stopping and he's back at school tomorrow Grin

AIBU in thinking that this shouldn't be shown when kids are lurking? It IS funny but I would bet my bottom dollar I'll be called in for a word with the teacher tomorrow...

I bought him the Raymond Briggs Father Christmas DVD. There are far too many "bloomin's" in it. He asked me where his bloomin' dinner was after he'd watched it. It's a minefield, it really is.

Wasn't a passive aggressive smiley. Twas a genuine smile to MNers who'd replied lightheartedly to a lighthearted thread.

Bonus cunt points to you for being a sourfaced dragon. :) [that] is a passive aggressive smiley.

Ah, okay. Mooncup type thing.

(BTW, cunt points was a reference to your username. I just realised that looked rather more acid than intended.)

I should also confess that DH tried to get DS to say "asss.... HOOOOOOLE!" as in the 2nd Fockers movie when he was smaller, so probably the wrong family to ask. (He failed, thank God.)

Oops, x post. Though I rather like the idea of being a sour-faced dragon - not been accused of that before.

Bupcakes I am with you we watched some lovely films on the other channels with DSs 2.5 and 5 yo. There is only so much cbeebies you can cope with 12 hours a day for a fortnight was too much Wink Grin

bupcakesandcunting · 04/01/2011 10:15

I understand, Magna. We were snowed in for two weeks solid. Had done making paper cup people/cereal box robots. Had to get on with real life so called on the tellybox to babysit. Cbeebies can be a bit cack, really.

Anyway, DS thorougly enjoyed the Christmas films especially as he watched with a multipacknif PomBears.

You should have seen the look of sheer relief on DSiL's face when I popped to the shop to stock up on milk for her and returned with The Polar Express on DVD... Did you not know that too much cbeebies can cause autism in parents??? Hmm
