Xmas Grin

am 40+2, and am not really feeling ready iyswim.

but would really like to meet him now.

btw, i do know babies arrive when they decide to arrive.

but if you all want to yell 'get out baby' at my bump, feel free!

no news yet.

am also wanting to try a water birth this time.

Hope all these babies make an appearance very soon!

YANBU for wanting baby out.

DD1 was 40+10 but I always thought she was going to be late so didn't get my hopes up near due date.

DD2 was 40+2, but MW kept saying from about 36 weeks that DD2 would make an appearance very soon and I was highly likely to have her before my due date. Hmm

I'm not likely to have another, but if I do I'm going to add 2 weeks onto my due date. Grin

mumatron · 03/01/2011 20:49

Quite bad pains but don't want to start tming them as everytime I do they stop!

Would love to get in the bath but, again, that makee everything stop.

FairyTaleOfNewYork · 04/01/2011 04:42

contractions have been every 10mins for the last hour or so. very intense. having to stand up and lean against the wall and breath through everyone.

should really set the timer and call the hospital soon.

Boo! Thought mamatron or FairyTale might be heading in the direction of the labour-ward today. Keeping my fingers crossed for you (and legs uncrossed!! Hmm Blush)

Asked DH to have sex with me a couple of days back, logistics of getting round the bump were hard to manage but good fun. Then asked him to initiate sometimes, (as despite the amazingly sexy bod and mood I have currently, he seems to not want to jump me at every given moment :o). AIBU in not having responded positively to him leaning over in bed and twiddling my nips???! Hmm

mumatron · 04/01/2011 11:03

Just woke up here too.

Seriouely had enough now. I can cope with beng late, but not the pains.

DanceInTheDark · 04/01/2011 11:20

right come on babies.....today is the day

shell96 · 04/01/2011 11:55

wow thanks everyone! This actually worked. Contractions started the afternoon after i posted on here and then ds2 arrived the next day!

QueenofDreams · 04/01/2011 12:09

Hello, can I join the waiting ladies? 40 +11 here. Booked for induction tomorrow but going to refuse and opt for monitoring instead. Did this with DS and went 18 days over.

Also having great big tightenings that acheive nothing here.

Babies OUT!

mumatron · 04/01/2011 13:12

am having a horrible day.

feel like shit, very little sleep, lots of pointless pains.

And to top it all off i just had a go at mil. 3 times today she has asked me 'ooh when's this baby coming then' then she started on about how her poor dgc was late and didn't have a name yet etc etc. and how poor family were fed up of waiting now. told her i wouldn't tell her the name yet anyway, none of anyones business etc. i cannot help being sarcastic lately.

i think i have upset her. the downside of having a mil right next door :(

i have been trying to get hold of my midwife, see if i can get another sweep but as she usually does her clinic on a monday i can't get a hold of her. doubt it would make any difference tbh. (feeling sorry for myself much?)

LadyBubbaAndBump · 04/01/2011 13:20

poor you mumatron

I can send my sex god of a DH over to 'help' get things going in his own inimitable style?? Hmm Hmm Hmm

FairyTaleOfNewYork · 04/01/2011 13:21

{{{}}mumatron

well i am still having random contractions. one or two an hour, then sometimes 3 in a short space of time. my big girls have gone ice-skating with their aunt and cousins, little one has run away with FIL to play for the afternoon. DH has gone to work Shock

i have a midwife appointment in a couple of hours, so am hoping everything is ok.

baby is kicking away.

OP posts:
mumatron · 04/01/2011 18:57

have been feeling very odd here this afternoon. quite sick and shakey.

quite alot of pain but it seems to be more of a constant pain than regular contractions.

have mw coming to the house tomorrow to do another sweep. fingers crossed that will tip me over the edge into real labour.

ilythia · 05/01/2011 10:37

All goen quiet from FTONY..... mumatron, do you need us to yell at your baby anymore?

mumatron · 05/01/2011 12:23

yes please, as loud as possible!

am waiting for mw, she will be here sometime today. if sweep doewsn't work i will be induced tomorrow.

any news from anyone else?

ilythia · 05/01/2011 14:09
