So please to be different. Tell us all which famous people you irrationally LIKE
or even worship?

Animation · 17/12/2010 21:48

Judge Judy
Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen
Jo Brand
Russell Brand
Ulrika
Steve Coogan

I like Kenneth Clarke too. And Alan Clark even though he TOTALLY represented all that I loathe and despise.

DH and I often say - 'he's a cunt but I like him.' And that sadly applies to Ken Livingstone. He IS a cunt but I like him.

Also:
Craig Charles
Shaun Ryder

follyfoot · 17/12/2010 23:31

Judge Judy. How on earth did I forget her? She is wonderful.

Bue · 17/12/2010 23:44

Pesto - I absolutely adore Carol the weather lady!

My most irrational like of all time is... Lorraine Kelly. I want to go to the pub with her. Blush

cumfy · 18/12/2010 05:11

Janet Street-Porter
Judge Judy
Genghis Khan

beijingaling · 18/12/2010 06:03

Prince Charles
Camilla PB (no idea why, just quite like her)
Jane Lynch is amazing and I find her actually very beautiful in the bold blues and reds they put her in on Glee.
Fiona Shackleton (Paul M and Prince Charles' divorce solicitor). Apart from the fact that she went to my school since I saw the photos of her covered in water roaring her head off laughing after Heather Mills dumped that glass of water on her I've had a soft spot.

LostInTheSnowAgain · 18/12/2010 08:56

Mick Martin from Dog Borstal, he's the dog's bollocks!

GabbyLoggon · 18/12/2010 12:56

On TV I like the geezer who manages Bolton FC And think he may be a possible england manager

I too like Alan Bennet...I am dreadful on nasmes...but like the famous painter from Bradford. I like Ann Widdecombe for her directness. When young I worshipped Doris Day.

must mention The Queen of Mean Ann Robinson
the constestants on weakest link adore her. But she just insults them...great, its only a game

OneTwoBaubleMySanta · 18/12/2010 12:59

Kendra (Wilkinson) Bassat, don't know why but i love her!

Animation · 18/12/2010 13:23

I like Brucie - his humour's like my grandad's.

weedle · 18/12/2010 13:25

Ooh my liking list:

Jennifer Aniston
Victoria Beckham
Danny Dyer
Sara Cox
Chris Moyles
Boris Johnson
George Bush
The Gallagher bros
Pete Doherty
Courtney Cox
Paris Hilton
Matthew Wright

Ooh and I heart Fearne Cotton in a big way. I want to be her friend!

BigBoldAndBeautiful · 18/12/2010 13:43

Another vote for Judge Judy

MsKalo · 18/12/2010 13:54

getorf I met Fiona philips once and she was neither approachable or warm. She seems so nice on the tv so i was surprised but she was quite cold and looking down her nose at people! Maybe it was an off day, I don't know!

GabbyLoggon · 18/12/2010 14:00

Get orf...
yes, I think Fiona Philips is nicer than the average big earning lady. She is NOT tory for one thing. And fights for her elderly parents

MilkNoSugarPlease · 18/12/2010 14:21

Myleene Klass!

Sorry but I do! I love her!

cumfy · 18/12/2010 17:55

Melanie Philips

No really, everytime I listen to her it's like there's an angry little 7 yo that just needs 15 minutes on a suitably remote naughty step and a big mug of cocoa.

There, there, Mel.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 18/12/2010 18:27

Christ. I hope you are joking about Mad Mel. Truly that is IRRATIONAL.

TheCoalitionNeedsYou · 18/12/2010 18:32

Peter Mandelson can be very entertaining.

theexample · 18/12/2010 22:28

Ricky Gervais. He gets a lot of criticism but he's probably the best comedian in the country. And he's responsible for Karl Pilkington.

stickylittlefingers · 18/12/2010 22:34

theexample - did you see RG on the Daily Show (or anywhere recently, I guess)? He's so smartened up it's frightening.

I have a weird crush on Graeme Garden. He's older than my Dad Xmas Blush

SpringHeeledJack · 18/12/2010 22:37

roffle at Melanie Philips' naughty step- somewhere near Tierra del Fuego, praps?

...we suddenly started to violently and irrationally love Mandy during the election. I particularly liked that thing Jon Snow said, about him entering a room and all the oxygen suddenly being sucked out

I quite miss him

cumfy · 18/12/2010 23:19

Good idea. A sort of naughty steppe.Xmas Grin

naomilpeb · 18/12/2010 23:27

Ooh I love Carol the BBC weather woman too.

And I absolutely adore Kate Humble. Absolutely adore her. DP finds it very funny and has started to refer to her as your best friend Kate. I think I must go on about her too much...

DP also says I am worryingly fond of Ceri from CBeebies. I think it's because DD used to point at her and say Mummy.
