I don't mind either way about avatars, so long as they are simple jpegs and not animated gifs or something that slows things down too much. But I don't think they are necessary.

I still want an edit button though. I see no reason why I should not be trusted to alter my own words if I see fit. I hate not having one. Of course, this agument got me called a cunt, so I shall shut up now.

But really, give us a frickin' edit button already, or justify the lack of one in a way which isn't undermined by the easiness of name-changing here.

One of the many reasons I love it!

I heart google chrome too - I used to use safari for spellcheck but since switching to chrome I find browsing loads easier and can spell better - not perfectly - but better, too
