Where's the snow

Just checked the weather forecast and here in SW London we are supposed to be having heavy snow showers. Just looked out and it's wet and drizzly. AIBU to wish the dc were waking up to a winter wonderland - and possible a "snow day" for us all?

Snow day for us in West Yorkshire I am very pleased! Though a bit worried about DH trying to get to work through it all but he's a fireman and duty calls!

We had an inch of snow last night - it's all lovely and white

There is something falling out of the air in SE1. Is odd seeing roads again (live in York and am down here for a week)

Just got back from the school run. 2 miles away it's all settled wintry wonderlandy. SW London

Lots of snow here in SE23. Looks like it's settling too. Have kept my DD off nursery as couldn't face all the hills.

I'm surprised at SW London having no snow. In NE London it's a few inches deep and hasn't stopped since the early hours.

It' a tale of two parts Strawberry. Low ground (us) it's snowing but not settling - up the hill its white all over.

I live between Southampton and Bournemouth and not had anything I am living in the only place with no snow???

I'm on a huge hill here, feeling pretty trapped already. Bit nervous of mixing a buggy with a hill I struggle to get up normally!

Well its snowed here most of the day, just North of Portsmouth, it hasn't laid but is very wet so will OK as long it doesn't freeze tonight. Love it, looks like a snow globe as it keeps falling.
