To have munched my way through 140g of Revels, approx 70g of Maltesers and be well on my way through a 3rd glass of wine?

Because I'm worth it!

Well, actually because my afternoon consisted of ploughing my way through a lesson to a class of rowdy and difficult interesting and challenging teenagers.

Me?? Eat Christmas presents??? No...... as if!

So anyway Spikey, did you enjoy the stray Minstrel??

SpikyBinkle · 26/11/2010 22:52

It was bittersweet - a taste of honey's worse than none at all...

I have stopped buying chocolate for three whole days because I just end up eating it.

I am thinking about all the edible Christmas presents in my secret places now.

Do you feel sick? Like the specifics re weight consumption by the way. You weren't teaching maths today were you?

Mowiol · 26/11/2010 23:08

I never feel sick... ever! Must be because I'm a skinny old hag svelte mature woman.

No I wasn't teaching maths..... science is my thing.

I'm just precise and analytical by nature when it comes to weights and measures.... that would be the science!!

I'm now on another glass of wine...... hic.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 26/11/2010 23:11

Do you have many fillings?

Anyway, they're all right up there ^^^ Wineonly goes with crisps & cheese, chocolate only goes with hot tea or coffee... or Irish coffee at a push

icapturethecastle · 26/11/2010 23:12

YANBU - but I am more a minstrels and maltesers girl myself.

bran · 26/11/2010 23:13

YABVVU not to share your goodies with the rest of us. Envy

SpikyBinkle · 26/11/2010 23:15

Hyphens before and after every word not just the phrase - another lovely MNetter had to tell me this.

I was going to bed at 10 pm.

bran · 26/11/2010 23:17

Actually, I partially take that back, Revels are vile.

Pass the pack of Maltesers this way please. [hopeful] Smile

SpikyBinkle · 26/11/2010 23:19

bran you haven't a hope of getting your hands on any of those Maltesers.

bran · 26/11/2010 23:21

I think you're right SB, she's just a little selfish greedy possessive isn't she.

SpikyBinkle · 26/11/2010 23:23

Yep. 210g of chocolate and not even a sniff for us.

They're covered in cat hair anyway.

Mowiol · 26/11/2010 23:39

OP posts:
Mowiol · 26/11/2010 23:40

OP posts:
bran · 26/11/2010 23:45

Shock at "young lady". Say it again, please, please, please. I can't remember the last time anyone referred to me as young. Grin

Today DH worked at home and I kept our (incredibly lound and shrieky) DC out of the house for most of the afternoon and out of his hair when we were at home at the same time as cooking dinner. I did the same thing yesterday, arriving home in the late afternoon only to find that he hadn't worked at home after all and hadn't told me. Hmm I even kept my cool when he stopped in the middle of DD's bedtime story and ran downstairs to answer his mobile phone.

I think I deserve a malteser or two (or a pack or two). Grin

Mowiol · 26/11/2010 23:51

OK bran......

OP posts:
Mowiol · 26/11/2010 23:52

Oh... and I hope you're suitably grateful young lady

OP posts:
bran · 27/11/2010 00:00

Grin Very grateful, thank you, for both the choccie and mistaking me for a young person.
