To want to buy a laminator?

I really want to buy a laminator. I've found these downloads for those black & White images for babies plus I read a good idea of using laminated paper as a sort of white board for writing shopping lists etc on in the kitchen.

Aibu to buy a laminator? What other cool things could I do with one?

DH is a teacher and bought one for school, but we went through a bit of a stage at first when we laminated everything.

His mum does reading with a local group of schoolchildren and wanted to give the kids certificates at the end of the year. DH, BIL and I spent a rather lovely afernoon laminating all the certificates I'm not sure three 30-somethings have ever had so much fun...
