to play World of Warcraft?

DP thinks I'm very unreasonable

I don't play to the point of neglecting DC but would gladly neglect my own needs to have a go. Getting tricky now as we are doing very well in raids and getting more regimented, and I want to get better gear, etc.

Does anyone else play on here? How do you fend off your pissed off well meaning DP?

What realm are you on? Would love to know some 'real' people on there

I'm not addicted like i used to be... it used to be every night when the kids were in bed but now its 4 times a week. But i'm single so there's naff else to do.

My main is an 85 belf hunter (for the horde!)

I searched "warcraft" and replied to the thread. Is that against the rules?

I used to play WoW for 5 years. Overloaded on raiding and it took over my life, pretty much. I was single for much of it, but did have a fiance during some of it and he played too so it was ok.

I was still playing it when I came to Sweden in July last year but I stopped soon after. I just wasn't having fun any more. My partner played a lot and I admit I got fed up with him working all hours and then raiding (he was a raid leader so did it a lot) and ignoring me. I got huffy about it at first and then I just got over it and found something else to do.

We went to the UK this Christmas and since then he's hardly touched WoW. I think it's because he feels left behind. Now he plays Evony instead, which is much less of an intrusion.

I've tried a load of other f2p mmorpgs but they're all rubbish compared to WoW so now I'm just a demented facebook gamer and MN poster :P

My friends girlfriend was always moaning that he played too much WoW, she wanted him to "come and sit by me" every evening. He agreed to not play at all for one week and at the end of the week he worked out that he had spent more hours sat in front of the tv watching mindless crap and soaps than he did playing wow.

Now if she moans he tells her to quit it and get back to him when he spends more time on wow than she does watching naff soaps.
