I was pointing out these factors may have far more to with her popularity. I find these more amazing and relevent than what op suggests in regards to her looks, age and weight.

I'm assuming that since you said (limited) musical ability then you are in fact yourself a classical singer?

Also she is not ugly, no one is ugly. Everyone is different and has there own qualities.

IMverylimitedO, SuBo is nothing spectacular. She is as someone else pointed out, a middle aged woman with frizzy hair.
Again, as I think LaQueen said, Simon Cowell recognises a cashcow and will milk it for all it's worth. Her story will resonate with those who like a 'fairytale ending', for those who aren't interested in her background, they have to judge her voice. Which, if I am honest, isn't anything spectacular. Better than mine obviously, but nothing extraordinary.
