I bought it to get married in. probably loads of you will be at wearing such a thing for getting married in, but its only going to be a very small wedding, just me, DH to be, our kids and parents in a registry office. and I just wanted something pretty but not too dressy, was going to wear it with black opaques and black heels. I also can't afford to spend too much money on an outfit.

but I look like a sack of spuds. and i am DEPRESSED.

and DP bought his suit last week and looks jaw droppingly, staggeringly gorgeous in it. and I don't want to look shit next to him :(

does the dress have to be cream/white?

I have serious boobs and wouldn't go for a straight dress. Something slightly flared or empire line looks good.

How tall are you?

Scoop neck is good for big boobs as well.

Invest in some spanx body shapers for the tummy. Just make sure you whip them off before the wedding night!

If you have large boobs I wouldn't choose that neckline, it is not at all flattering. You need something plunging.

It doesn't matter if you are a size 8 or a size 16 - if you are wearing a fitted dress you need to be very toned. I am a size 8 but have far from perfect figure - I would look all lumps and bumps in that dress.

Have you tried it with spanx (urgh though att he thought of wearing spanx on your wedding day). The trinny and susannah ones ( a great big tube which stops under your boobs with a strap that goes round your neck to hold it up) are very good.

I don't like the dess very much though - I think there are better things out there tbh.

I have got a dress like that its lush. I wear it out on the weekends. I got mine from New Look though. It was in the sale recently reduced to a tenner and then cause mine was a little ripped I got it for £2.99.

It doesnt look cheap at all. I think its the best dress I own (I also have it in black and pink!)

I agree with everyone about needing a proper neckline if you've got large breasts. Frankly, it's no wonder you looked like a sack of potatoes if you're trying to squeeze proper breasts into a dress designed for a flat-chested 19 year old.

The style of the Marilyn Monroe one is perfect. Being fancy dress though, it will probably be of the worst quality (they tend to be thin unlined polyester)

You cannot wear a white bodycon dress with black opaque tights. You should not wear high necked if you have big boobs. Sounds like you need something 50s prom dress style with cleavage, and you could wear seamed stockings or something with that. I'm sorry but this is AIBU so....that dress is Not Great.
