to think it is a bit weird when women shop for their husband's clothes?

as well as pack for them for holidays, business trips etc?

I have a few friends who do this... my DH would never trust me to do all his clothes shopping for him (and frankly I couldn't be arsed). And holiday packing and stuff like that... isn't it akward when someone else does your packing?

I wouldn't let Dh pack my suitcase. Christ knows what I'd find it in it.

Women are like that.

When I met DW she bought me a lot of stuff because she said I needed them
I had 3 pairs of undies
1 working
2 best
3 spair

she threw them out and got me lots of new

so what if I have shirts over 20 years old
women like buying new clothes and men do not

I do not need new clothes but she keeps getting me stuff
now I have about 9 shirts and 7 pairs of undies 5 pairs of trousers
I have never had as many clothes

Well dh doesn't really get much more in the way of clothes other than what he gets here and there for presents. He isn't remotely interested in clothes though. He does sometimes come home with smart stuff he's finally got around to buying for himself for work but he makes it last for ages and only does it out of necessity.

What I find stranger are men who shop for and with women. I would hate it if dh wanted to get involved with that. He detests clothes shopping though and that's fine by both of us.

I always think it most odd when I see a man rummaging about in a womens clothes shop and holding stuff up for his wife/girlfriend.

Mine is by nature extremely scruffy-I solved this by buying several pairs of 'leisure trousers' and sweatshirts from Matalan at £6 each. They wash and wash so he is always clean and neatish and decent clothes arent covered in oil, paint, soil, flour etc as he goes about his life.He is 74 and I love him to bits.
