use and appropriate seatbelt for her daughter?

In a few scenes in that last series Princess was using a 3-point seatbelt, which I thought was illegal for under three's. And in the latest episode she didn't seem to have any seatbelt at all!!!

retire? Grin

oops sorry I was hoping this was a finish the sentence thread!!

TheGhostlyPirate · 29/10/2010 20:40

Your finishing of the sentence was right though Posie. I would bet that KP doesn't even think about seatbelts or if she does says "but I'm a woman and I don't know how to do them up".

MsKalo · 29/10/2010 20:40

Those poor children having 'that' for a mother! P

tutu100 · 29/10/2010 20:40

Princess is 3 isn't she? But yes I have watched a few of the programmes and thought if I had her money I would have much better car seats than she has. Has she not read the Which reports? Smile

EricNorthmansMistress · 29/10/2010 22:01

bigchris · 29/10/2010 22:02

she is three didn't you hear hr at the dentist 'she has a dummy and she is three'
get a life

YourCallIsImportant · 29/10/2010 22:03

...take a good look at herself in natural light....

(following Posie's lead)

bigchris · 29/10/2010 22:03

god you are all so judgey

loads of three year olds still have nappies and dummies

fgs just because she's KP doesn't mean you can call her a shite mother

notnowbernard · 29/10/2010 22:04

Am intrigued as to why it's so terrible a 3+ child is in nappies?!?

EricNorthmansMistress · 29/10/2010 22:07

Nappies, fine. Dummy at 3 - lazy and crap, whoever you are (UTGSN obv)

I think as a Mum you can just do what suits you and your dc best- KP is always reflected in a poor light,no-one is judging anyone on here.

mittz · 29/10/2010 22:35

I think to call another human being '' 'that' '' is appalling. Sad

I do not like what she seems to represent and don't agree with many of her choices but wouldn't stoop to using such a term.

EricNorthmansMistress · 29/10/2010 22:35

Really? Ok TSC, you are never scared to defend your choices (so you shouldn't) so why does your 3yo still have a dummy? (now you'll tell me it's just for bedtime or something). I do not understand parents who allow their mobile toddlers/young children to walk about or trundle along in prams with dummies in their mouths. I used one with DS as a baby, sparingly, for sleeping. Did away with it recently bit before he was 2. I could have carried on longer but DH insisted. We're blessed with a good sleeper so it wasn't too painful. But during the day - walking about - just a battle the parents are too scared to have, IMO.

Dracschick · 29/10/2010 22:41

All children are different some @need@ to be soothed a lot even at an older age thats why children suck their thumbs and chew their cardigans whilst at primary.

Dummies arent ideal but if you live in the real world sometimes they are a neccesity.

I think 'princess' lives a chaotic life she has a disabled brother a high profile family and her mum and dad have split up,I should imagine sucking a dummy is the least of her problems.

I having had 2 text book babies followed by a rulebreaker ds3 say dont judge until you have experienced a child reliant on a dummy.

My 3 year old had a dummy and at 3.10 was assessed by a speech therapist as having the expressive language ability of a six year old. At 4 she is reading Roald Dahl and her teeth are perfect. Obviously I must be a crap mother though...

DD had a dummy till she was over 4 and was in nappies till 3.8.

I didn't take her dummy off her because it didn't bother me.
