I vacuum somewhere in the house once a week but definitely not every room!

TubbyDuffs · 22/10/2010 18:21

I hoover the lounge rug a lot as my children find it impossible not to thrown food around it at every given opportunity, and I have a baby who ends up with crumbs all over her nappy otherwise.

I've got quite good at ignoring mess though, otherwise I would be in an institution.

TubbyDuffs · 22/10/2010 18:21

or even throw food around it!

LittlebearH · 22/10/2010 18:24

I do it every day at 7.30am (have crawling baby, cream carpet, longhaired cat)

Sometimes even twice.

Hate lugging it out the cupboard and winding the lead up though.

Thought I was the only one who hoovered daily!

I also clean the bathroom daily...!

mollymax · 22/10/2010 18:37

I hoover the sitting room and dining room every day, we have wood floors and a dog, two indoor guinea pigs and 3 children.
Really not a good combination.

Alieight · 22/10/2010 19:04

I hoover...um...occasionally (I do have a hoover somewhere...).

DS is 2 and a) is terrified of the hoover and b)wakes up if I try hoovering when he's asleep. I work full-time out of the house(as does DP) so there's not a lot of opportunity...Blush.

I hoover or sweep downstairs every day. I clean the bathroom /toilets twice a day. I clean the kitchen every day.
I have three young children, before they were born i had a cleaner and the house was NEVER untidy.

gilbonzothesecretpsychoduck · 22/10/2010 19:27

I hoover once or twice a day. I love it - the satisfaction of seeing all the crap disappearing and the dingly noise of bits going up the metal tube .

I cried when my Henry died and made my dad give me his spare one as I couldn't afford a new one.

Right now there are rice crispies on the kitchen floor and I'm excited about the kids waking up tomorrow morning so I can suck the buggers up (rice crispies, not the kidsGrin)
