To get pissed off at Jehovah Witnesses haressing me?

2 times this week they've knocked on the door and 2 times I've not answered it.

About 2 months ago,I got caught out and answered the door in the daytime,I was quite firm in telling the lady I am NOT INTERESTED,so why come back?

I'm sick of them peddling their religion at my doorstep.

Do they really think they will convert people on the doorstep?

Tell the evangelisers you are Roman Catholic. They know there's no point in going any further.

Last time they called round at ours the six year old stared at them expressionless through the window and the four year old shouted go away through the letter box.

Any mention of Catholicism usually gets them to back off pretty quickly

My dad used to tip water on them from an upstairs window. He's an asshole though. I just take the leaflet, say thank you, close the door, and put it in the bin. I'm a hardcore atheist but I still don't think there's any need to be rude to people.

We have some JWs locally, DH answered the door a few months ago and engaged in very polite but questioning conversation with them for nearly half an hour. The last two times they've tried to come to our door they've seen him through the bay window, he's gestured to say hello and that he's coming to speak to them, and they just shove a leaflet through the door and run 😂. I just tell them I'm a strict Catholic (I'm not but it works)
