to be frightened of MN 'Royalty'

Hi everyone

I'm new to MN, been lurking for a couple of days and just starting to post, but I'm a bit confused (frightened) by something.

Some people seem to post nasty things, and then other posters say "ignore her, she's MN Royalty" or similar.

So what's MN Royalty, and why do they get to be mean? Is there a members list somewhere so I know who to look out for?!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone...

Thanks Shineoncrazydiamond, I didn't want to be rude and say I didn't really understand. Technically I'm Scottish but that was beyond me! (Sorry ScottishMummy!)
