My dd has a Thomas the Tank Engine & Bob quilt covers. She has had them for a few years & at 7, they are still her favourites!

I so need to get a dvd of it which i can put on in another room Grin

My DS2 wanted a Kitchen the one he liked was branded with 'just like Mum' i gently pursuaded him to get a different one. Grin

It really irks me to see in catalougues Girls playing with the Kitchens and Home Stuff and Boys playing Cars, Trains and Tools.

Your DS is gorgeous TLE its nice to see boys having the freedom to play with all toys.

My boy plays with the dolls house at school .He plays with dds dolls too.His dads a bit Hmm I don't know why.Don't boys grow up to be dad's then

DaisyDaresYOU · 02/10/2010 10:21

Oh and the kitchen. Is cooking only a woman's job

TheLadyEvenstar · 02/10/2010 10:34

Titsalina, Thats what DS2's irnong board is "Just like mums". His cooker is a hotpoint and his kitchen, is something else.I am upgrading his kitchen for Christmas, have been after a wooden one for him and am sorely tempted to make one as I know it will be just what I want then.

And thankyou, I do agree he is gorgeous...but then I am slightly biased lol

My ds (22 months) loves cooking and has the same ironing board too (although he doesn't see much ironing at home, so not sure why he loves it so much - maybe he's tying to tell me something!)

I think you did the right thing to buy it him, and I would have done too.

My ds was asked what colour balloon he wanted in the shoe shop and he said 'pink'. The man said 'are you sure' all smirky - I was so annoyed! We both said 'yes!' very loudly and he walked out of the shop very proudly with his pink balloon.

My ds also loves Fireman Sam and Thomas etc etc, and I am quite happy for him to just like what he likes.

Good for you.
