But only when they're on offer.

They are so yum, and you get 3 of your 5 a day in once easy 'bing'!

YABU...They're horrid!

:o

BertieBotts · 29/09/2010 18:19

I love them. They are a lunch though surely?

cansu · 29/09/2010 18:19

Yes, they are quite nice. Obviously healthy especially when teamed with a glass of wine and a chocolate torte for afters!! You obviously shop at tesco - they were on offer last week in my local shop.

chocoholic · 29/09/2010 18:20

YANBU they are yummy.

You also get some handy plastic pots to heat other things up in too!

thisisyesterday · 29/09/2010 18:20

yes YABU, they're vile!

and there isn't even that much veg in them

innocent should stick to making smoothies

Never come across them, are they purreed as in baby mush food?

LastOrdersAgain · 29/09/2010 18:25

Yes to Tesco! It's my just-got-in-from-uni-and-to-tired-to-bother food! I currently have an assortment of herbs being grown from my empty pots!

Yabu - they're vile!

gapbear · 29/09/2010 18:27

Love love love them! YANBU.

3 of your 5 day, veg that's not necessarily run of the mill, easy peasy to store, cook and eat.

bruffin · 29/09/2010 18:28

I have them for lunch at work. I wouldn't pay full price for them but half price their good value.

BertieBotts · 29/09/2010 18:28

I'm really tempted to get a microwave now so I can get them again...

No not pureed, they are things like risotto or chilli.

bruffin · 29/09/2010 18:42

There are cooking instructions for in a pan and also ontop of the camp fire

domeafavour · 29/09/2010 18:45

not unreasonable at all
love innocent
do you know the story of how they first started?

LastOrdersAgain · 29/09/2010 18:47

Have probably heard it but can't rememer it. Remind me...!

TrinityRhino · 29/09/2010 18:48

I saw them today in tesco and thought they looked small and unappetising

I should try them

ginhag · 29/09/2010 18:50

Depends how much you want to fart :)

domeafavour · 29/09/2010 18:50

they had the idea for their smoothies, but were not sure whether it would work.
So one day outside the pub, think bank holiday, nice Summer day, they set up stall and asked the public to vote whether they should set it up as a business. the public had to put their empty cups in one bin for yes, one bin for no..... the rest is history.
I believe it was the White Horse in Parsons Green
Oh that's all from memory, details might not be exact.
I just think it's a nice little story

ginhag · 29/09/2010 18:51

Was at a festival wasn't it? They had a stall there...

LastOrdersAgain · 29/09/2010 18:52

Well I'm glad they did. The smoothies are the lazy mums way to 5 a day!

StealthPolarBear · 29/09/2010 18:53

I love the lentil ones - not keen on the mexican one, the rest don't appeal
Bulk buying atm - pity they don't freeze!
Trinity - I started a thread the other day because I couldn't believe how filling they actually are! I was stuffed after I had one for lunch, and I am hard to stuff :o

Gleeb · 29/09/2010 18:55

I think they get very samey after a few.

domeafavour · 29/09/2010 18:55

ds loves the kids juices and I freeze the fruit squeezes and he calls them ice cream!!

DirtyMartini · 29/09/2010 18:55

They are lovely when fresh, but I have found they are frequently 'off' even when well within date. Had to stop buying them as it happened four or five times (over the course of six weeks or so, also during a period when they were on offer at Tesco).

LastOrdersAgain · 29/09/2010 19:01

The mousakka one is delish. Are they still on offer in Tescos?
