Inspired by another thread :)

  1. Her most famous song has men retching in the background
  2. She was so smug and superior on X Factor - for someone who I am sure will have faded back into obscurity in 6 months. "I'm not sure where you will fit in the industry " Angry
  3. She is FAKE

I liked her gold nails on X Factor ...

SeaTrek · 13/09/2010 14:28

Nope, never heard of her!

GetOrfMoiLand · 13/09/2010 14:35

She was terrible on X factor imo.

Really seemed to enjoy having a bit of power over that 16 year old lad (yes he was a bit useless but still). 'I don't know where you will fit in in the industry' as if she knows much about the industry. I am sure she doesn't know that the industry she professes to know so well will chew her up and spit her out again when loses her flavour.

Emo76 · 13/09/2010 14:36

Yes count me in

Can I add her hideously over dyed hair and naff dress sense to the list of reasons?

Oh, and you can tell she isn't going to age well MIAOW!

LittleMissHissyFit · 13/09/2010 14:36

I caught a snatch of XF, (NOT a Euphamism AF... Hmm)and have to say I was utterly unimpressed...

Went right off her...

That CD of hers loitering in my car might just go to the scarecrow pile...

Docbunches · 13/09/2010 14:37

I don't mind her too much, but compared to someone like Alexandra Burke - who IMO is an amazing singer and performer - PL doesn't come close.

Wanderingsheep · 13/09/2010 14:40

She reminds me of Gwen Stefani looks wise but Gwen Stefani is waaaay cooler!

I think she did ok as an x factor judge. She's only young!

What really made me laugh was Geri Halliwell...judging other people's singing abilities! That's like me judging a Gymnastics competition!

GeekOfTheWeek · 13/09/2010 14:47

Signing in.

SheWillBeLoved · 13/09/2010 14:51

Her mouth/ constant smile when she talks that grates on me. It's as though she has dried her top teeth, and her top lip is permanently stuck on her gum line.

ShadeofViolet · 13/09/2010 14:57

I like her - I really like Cry Me Out.

I cant understand why people think she is a bad role model for young girls.

StealthPolarBear · 13/09/2010 14:58

Does no one find it ironic: a 19 year old talking wisely about "the industry"
and no one agrees with me about the retching?? I actually can't listen to that song now, makes me feel sick myself.

Getorf, you didn't really mean this did you

"Compare her with other decent pop stars today, who seem to have a bit of passion about them. Beyonce, Katy Perry, Lily Allen, Pink. "

Seriously???? SERIOUSLY?????

They are all shit.

Mind you I do like Pixie's 'Girls and Boys' Blush

Where do we all stand on the subject of Kesha?

Mniemmniem · 13/09/2010 15:04

oohh my friend worked as a runner for pixie once, biggest diva ever apparently!

Aww I like beyonce, don't get me started on katy perry though, she's a walking lobotomy with jugs...

I didn't really think pixie had the experience to judge!

ShadeofViolet · 13/09/2010 15:07

Ke$ha - awful awful awful!

lowenergylightbulb · 13/09/2010 15:12

My daughters love Ke$ha

I have failed as a mother.

Wanderingsheep · 13/09/2010 15:16

Oh she's 19? Not as young as I thought then. Why did I think that she was 16? Hmm

Wanderingsheep · 13/09/2010 15:18

Anyone who puts a dollar sign in their name deserves shooting IMO!

MandyMcFly · 13/09/2010 15:23

Erm...I absolutely love her. Blush

I love her album, catchy songs and fabulous voice, 'Cry Me Out' is one of my favourite songs of this year! I think she is absolutely stunning too, that is what I aspire to look like...sigh

I met her a couple of months ago she did a gig in Manchester, and she was lovely! She said she liked my shoes! Grin

StealthPolarBear · 13/09/2010 15:26

But did you see the x factor? apart from the retching I can't say I had a strong opinion on her before the weekend

OP posts:
juneybean · 13/09/2010 15:28

WHY was she on X Factor?! What exactly has she accomplished?

MandyMcFly · 13/09/2010 15:29

Ohh I didn't see it...I don't watch it. Was she bad?

StealthPolarBear · 13/09/2010 15:29

she's in the industry

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 13/09/2010 15:30

"I'm not sure where I'd place you in the industry" in the style of a world weary 50yo

OP posts:
GetOrfMoiLand · 13/09/2010 15:33

Oh GOD no Cry Me Out

Cryayayayayaya Meyeyeyeyeye Ouwuwuwuwwuwut

He voice coach just said 'shout it out as loud as you can and put as much vibrato in your voice as you can get away with ergo people will think you are a top singer.

Now I know Pink, beyonce and the rest in the list above are NOt the best pop stars in the world, by far, but they are competing for roughly the same listeners, and there is NO comparison with those lot compared to Pixie Lott. I have no great love for Beyonce, Lily Allen or Katy Perry at all, but they have far, far more talent than PL.

PLEASE don't think I drive down the street listening to katy Perry and singing along (my dd would kill me for a start!)

juneybean · 13/09/2010 15:34

She should not have crumbled under Louie's pushing though. What was the point of her if she was going to just be a puppet.
