DS age 10 just told me 2 boys in his class have their hair cut at Toni and Guy.

10 year old boys! Come on. Why not just stand in the street tearing up tenners?

pag cannot possibly be a twat on the basis that she has made me properly laugh on two threads Smile.

pointydog · 10/09/2010 21:47

pag, get th e spelling right. It's nobber Wink

pagwatch · 10/09/2010 21:49

Blush sorry [cock-monkey]

MistsandMellowMilady · 10/09/2010 21:52

Shock @Pag and the monkey-themed obscenity!

Only joking. I was like this Grin when it appeared.

pagwatch · 10/09/2010 21:54
Grin

It is Dhs fav profanity and I always tut when he uses it,then use it on here.

salizchap · 10/09/2010 22:01

I just use cutters to do my DS´s hair myself for free!

nancydrewrocked · 10/09/2010 22:02

Make that 3 Smile

Cock monkey is inspired!

Clippers here. on the longest setting, (3/4 of an inch, i think). local barber charges £10. so thats £30 saved on dh, ds1 and ds2.

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 10/09/2010 22:14

I was tempted to book ds into Aveda with me so we could both have a facial, I can't see that going down well though (damn, I'll never have time otherwise), now this would be a waste of money! I doubt he needs a cleansing facial to help his skin Grin

ChippingIn · 11/09/2010 01:44

Pag - not sure when you think you've been a twat? I've read far too many threads lately and other than the very confusing one (with the kids birthday presents & std of living) which we eventually got to the bottom of, your posts all seemed fine to me :)

Why should you pretend to be hard up to keep people happy? You're financially comfortable, last time I looked it wasn't a criminal offence!! Grin

It is, however, nobb-tastic to name change to have a poke at someone! If you're going to do it, at least do it in your 'own' name!

Thanks Maryz :)

pagwatch · 11/09/2010 14:04

Thanks.

so pedants think knobber. Nobber would be if I were boasting about being posh...so I am sticking with nobber.
Pointy was right

Pedants section is mighty helpful Smile

( I will stick to twat in future. Equally accurate)

EdgarAllInPink · 11/09/2010 14:28

sadly i have more sense than money.

my kids will look like this

pagwatch · 11/09/2010 14:39

I am going for this next

TrillianAstra · 11/09/2010 14:42

Oh, I'd love to have more money than sense. I have rather a lot of sense you see, and currently less money than I have sense.

EdgarAllInPink · 11/09/2010 15:05

loving the look pag - the eighties look was never out of fashion...

you'd have to burn good money to get hair like those pics.

i'll save something by grooming dog myself too...
like this!

pagwatch · 11/09/2010 15:07

Thats fan-bloody-tastic!

the buffalo and the american footballer are just genius.

Grin Grin

durga · 11/09/2010 15:16

I don't go to to Toni and Guy to get my hair done as so something about it makes me feel a little queezy. I am an knobbing snob though. But I do pay a lot to get my hair done. I have a comfortable amount of money and common sense but am time poor . It makes sense that we all get our hair done at the same time in the same place.

TrillianAstra · 11/09/2010 15:27

I do the MN haircut, because hairdressers rarely do what I want.

fightingthela · 11/09/2010 15:29

Nowt wrong with a pudding basin and a pair of blunt scissors Grin

emmyloulou · 11/09/2010 15:37

£15 that is the going rate for boys haircuts even in the village salons and barbers around here, it's ludacrous.

pippop1 · 11/09/2010 18:40

When I was young the daughter of a friend of my parents had her hair cut by Vidal Sasoon. She was under ten and they were v v v rich. I was a teenager (this was about 35 years ago) and v jealous. It did look lovely though.

hifi · 12/09/2010 11:51
