What is wrong with having a go at people who shower every morning and change clothes daily.
We live in a society where people dont a toss about the damage caused to the envioroment by there selfish behavior

We do not live in a world of finite resources and should not use them just because we can
and how the hell do people get so dirty in bed that they need a shower in the morning, every morning

"I get night sweats in bed - a side effect of my antidepressants "

Ohhhh.... is that why it happens? Thanks for clarifying that sdtg. I thought it was to my menopausal hot flushes! Didn't know.

FWIW I tend to agree with the OP to a small extent. I think regular all over washing is a fairly new development. MIL and mum talk about a 'stand-up wash' with a flannel and a basin of water. It was unheard of to wash your hair every day when they were younger. And I don't think everyone stank to high heaven. The need to wash every day is a purely aesthetic thing not a hygiene thing.

Mind you I can't stand being sweaty and hot so do shower at least once a day Blush. Showers are much more economic of water and power than a deep bath.

But I don't think any of us would die if forced to shower every other day and make do with a wash in between. And not wash every garment after one wearing.

But OP needs to be a little less worthy and moralising if they want to be taken seriously perhaps.

Ooohhhh..... was a joke then. Surely ?Confused Or the T-word.

Orm - I assume that menopausal hot flushes would happen during the day as well - that (plus the mirena coil I have implanted) makes me believe that the night sweats are due to the anti-ds (it is a known side effect of some of them).
