What is wrong with having a go at people who shower every morning and change clothes daily.
We live in a society where people dont a toss about the damage caused to the envioroment by there selfish behavior

We do not live in a world of finite resources and should not use them just because we can
and how the hell do people get so dirty in bed that they need a shower in the morning, every morning

OP posts:
emmyloulou · 06/09/2010 11:45

I bathe twice a day, so shoot me! I need one to wake me up in the morning and to freshen up after the previous nights activites.

I also have one before I get into bed, so I am all fresh after my hectic day. Quite a lot happens in our bed between going to bed and getting up Biscuit

Hammy02 · 06/09/2010 11:53

I must be gross then as I go jogging a couple of miles each day but don't wash the whole outfit everyday. Maybe every 3/4 days. I'm outdoors and running so damn fast that no-one could smell me anyway!

Are you looking for tips?

YABU....to not wash your cheesy nob everyday

ReneRusso · 06/09/2010 12:12

I suspect I am rather smelly in the morning and feel it would be more selfish not to have a shower. Don't wash my clothes daily though except knickers and socks. Jeans can last for quite a few days imo.

FFS Vinegar. It's lunchtime. Put me right off my cheese sandwich.... Grin

Hammy02

That's nothing. At Uni I lived with a guy who only washed his rowing lycra once a term (rowed pretty much every day). He'd just hang it over the radiator to dry. Four weeks in, it would be crispy.

LoisWillkerson · 06/09/2010 12:32

All this thread does is make me want a lovely hot shower.

Bella32 · 06/09/2010 12:36

Baggedandtagged - thanks for that.

I was feeling hungry. Past tense...

massivemammaries · 06/09/2010 12:38

@ OP We do not live in a world of finite resources

we do actually

BaggedandTagged · 06/09/2010 13:05

My pleasure. I'm thinking about patenting that anecdote as a cure for compulsive eating Grin

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 06/09/2010 13:06

I get night sweats in bed - a side effect of my antidepressants - is it alright if I have a shower in the mornings, or should I go round feeling sticky and unpleasant, and probably smelling nasty as well, OP?? Hmm

scottishmummy · 06/09/2010 13:19

the troll patrol are the dullest eager baevers on mn.i prefer a funny troll to all that earnest "troll" and "Are you newbie"

TooBlessedToBeStressed · 06/09/2010 13:54

i just love feeling fresh after a shower, and with a little baby who thinks puking all over me is a hobby,at the end of the day i am in need of a nice shower, and clean clothes,,

why do i have to explain myself?sue me,i take one or two showers every day.

TooBlessedToBeStressed · 06/09/2010 13:56

i bet OP you never go anywhere, you don't fly either

HecateQueenOfWitches · 06/09/2010 13:59

If you want to stink to save the planet, that's fine.

I will continue to be clean and not offend the noses of those around me because I think that happens to be important too.

And if we run out of resources, I'll bathe in the river and wash my clothes in it by banging them against rocks. It's doable all over the world.

Nothing will convince me to go round smelly and dirty. Nothing.

TooBlessedToBeStressed · 06/09/2010 14:09

exactly Hacate,i was born in Africa and they do bath every day,at least the ones i know who don't live in town but villages, they wash their clothes the way you described,so i have no idea what this OP is talking about.

Gibbon · 06/09/2010 14:10
