The culler would do no better than Miss Gibb. She is a fine woman, enthusiastic and always so grateful.

Brother Samuel was quite exhausted by her gratitude. I suspect that contributed to his demise..falling asleep atthe thresher

OOOOOmAAAAHmEEEEEE · 03/11/2010 08:49

Surely we must have sinned greatly for so many of our number to be afflicted with deformed feet?

pagwatch · 03/11/2010 08:52

feet are trhe devils work. Better to slice them off and hop about as God would wish us to.

OOOOOmAAAAHmEEEEEE · 03/11/2010 08:59

Like this Godly fellow - remember him?

pagwatch · 03/11/2010 09:01

he is,in every way, the perfect man.
He is doing all that yet in a spirit of Godliness

OOOOOmAAAAHmEEEEEE · 03/11/2010 09:03

Praise be. See his countenance as the holy spirit touches him.

Hullygully · 03/11/2010 09:04

Sister Gibbon, come back! Come back! The Lord has decreed it shall be you and only you for the 12th bride. It was written in the turnip that Sister Widow sliced open last harvest.

No, I really must put my delicate and sweetly sized foot down and say no Hully dear. He is yours.

And dear sisters Pag and Widow, please do join me in celebrating the love of the culler and Hully.

I fear if I was made to wed him, when he loves another, I would be driven to the dizzy lights of the devil's playground.

pagwatch · 03/11/2010 09:38

The culler fears Hully may be willfull.
(Which is not determined and disobedient but actually full of Will the carpenter she met at the last barn raising. he fill her cavities and has promised to file down her feet)

Hullygully · 03/11/2010 09:40

Oh very well.

Oh lawks and Lordly wounds! He has fallen sideways from his stool and smothered to death in a cowpat! How most untimely .

How fortunate that his son, Culler Jr, arrives today to begin his apprenticeship. Here he comes now!

Hullygully · 03/11/2010 09:51

Oh Mr Culler with an R do pay attention Sister Pag Jr, how delightful to see you here in our little community!

Today your father was to cull yon Jaffa, useless son of Sister Lenin, how are your culling skills?

Please avert your eyes while Sister Gibbon drags your poor dead father off to the barn where he may be processed for the hogs, the Lord wanteth not waste.

Oh dear Hully, you must be devastated! why is the culler not the 49th beloved of yours to leave us so suddenly!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 03/11/2010 09:53

why helllllloooooo culler the younger

Hullygully · 03/11/2010 09:54

The Lord taketh - but the Lord delivereth the delectable Culler Jr unto mine twitchy hands. Mine is not to reason why, mine is but to take him off into yon haystack to discuss matters of the Lord's work.

Samuel would want me to be happy. He was a believer in having ones needs fulfilled.

Not needs of the flesh obviously

Spiritual needs. I feel some quiet prayer time with Culler the younger would be quite fitting.

And I have made a cheese in his memory actually. It is strong of taste (slightly on the salty side) and firm to touch.

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 03/11/2010 10:01

Ahhhh sister Riven! how wonderful to see you.

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 03/11/2010 10:04

Alas, I must swoon (that means bugger off Riven Wink) but so glad you could join us Sister Riven dear.

please keep Hully away from culler the younger.

TheGhostOfMangoFandango · 03/11/2010 10:08

Sister Riven, welcome. Do join us for some modesty cheese and one of Sister Mimi's pies.

I have been studying some useful farming tips here, in order to serve the community better.

TheGhostOfMangoFandango · 03/11/2010 10:09

Bugger. Still in my gastrointestinal pudding demise name.
