I think that you lot are really uncaring and ignorant. I have read a thread where nearly all the mums have maybe a young girl feel unwanted and then went on to bitch about it.

I hope that your children become young parents so you know how it feels because you have some sort of problem with it. I think that use need to get a life and think about others. why not have a young parent section?

If it would help a lot of young parents relate to each other.

I think you all need to have a good look in the mirror.

OH by the way I love NETMUMS and the tickers Smile

I think it's the number of people with the same name - my NM name has 19 in brackets but that certainly isn't my age, more like almost double it!

Tippychoocks · 24/08/2010 23:41

Oh OK. Feel a bit silly then. I looked at the link to NM and was about to tell people to lay off MMMMMMMummy because she was only young and probably didn't need a flaming.
I am a bit thick. I did mean well but I am a bit thick today.

missellie74 · 24/08/2010 23:47

Well that makes two of us, as I forgot I could stand on a chair to close my kitchen window earlier today as it turned cold! I couldn't reach it to close it and was going to wait for hubby to come home and close it when someone suggested standing on a chair, d'oh!! It's official my brain has turned to mush.

Tippychoocks · 24/08/2010 23:50

Grin Logic is a bastard some days no?

missellie74 · 24/08/2010 23:51

Hell yeah!! I think it must be my age, have to write everything down now, either that or it's the stress of 2 kids, moving house and selling a house gah!

Jace07 · 25/08/2010 02:07

I normally use NMs I must admit. I have been around here a few times but only a lurker. I have to say, I don't think that this is any worse than NMs, only worded differently and without the Wink on the end!

I might nosey around a bit more now I have got used to navigating the place!

Jace07 · 25/08/2010 02:09

And when I say it isn't any worse, I mean the so-called rudeness that apparently happens all the time here. I can't see its any worse than NM's at times!

PacificDogwood · 25/08/2010 07:57

Oooooh, a bun fight in the Hon Cupboard, and I missed most of it!

Do go on, dears, please Grin

Can't believe I missed all this just for a bit of shuteye...

Saladbomb · 25/08/2010 08:08

I'd say to any NMers who have come over here to see what 'MN is all about' that a thread started by and NMer slagging off MNers is not the place to start. Have a look around the rest of the site. Find and read threads that are relevant to you, lurk for a bit until you get the sense of the place and then contribute a sensible post. You will find an untapped mine of information, support and hilarity.

pagwatch · 25/08/2010 08:09

Grin at Cupcakesandbuntings chimps.

PacificDogwood · 25/08/2010 08:14

So, in summary, a thread started with shit-stirring intent which was deftly deflected into a bit of psychodelic nonsense, was turned back late at night into somekind of MN/NM 'we are better than you' playground tiff??

Really??

SparkleRainbow · 25/08/2010 08:40

Next time I will know better and not log off to sleep.

Anyone else wants to join me I am making myself comfortable in the hons cupboard
on the Chaiselonge of Superiority, leaving just enough room for PacificDogwood to come back in and join me, minding the skid marks on her way in.

I love this place Grin

How did that happen?

You can still have a Kind Heart, even if your Coronet is from Argos, y'know.

cupcakesandbunting · 25/08/2010 09:56

I got a Grin from Pagwatch!

Anyone up for an Asda Smartprice sausage bap in the huns cupboard? I've got some Lidl Tomate Katchip to go on them :)

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 25/08/2010 10:10

cupcakes you are allowed wine after the first two weeks on Neris and India's Idiot Proof Diet

I thought of changing my name to URtheHun4meFatty, but it really isn't a favourite song of mine at all. Grin

cupcakesandbunting · 25/08/2010 10:25

Oh no, you must. I love it.

I think I'll stick to WeightWatchers. You're allowed wine everyday there. Sometimes I just eat the no points soup all day and save all my points for a bottle of wine and a bag of chips.

cupcakesandbunting · 25/08/2010 10:27

Oops. I clearly meant every day, with a space in between and everything. Blush

saltyair · 25/08/2010 10:45

cupcakehun after finding out what was in the sausages yesterday, do you really want to know what might be in Lidl 'Tomato' ketchup, hmm? Hmm

PacificDogwood · 25/08/2010 10:52

Stop slagging Lidl's immediately, please, hun. My favourite shop in the whole wide worlds - well, right after Waitrose Grin

I'll have a bap though, thanks. Square sausage anyone?

PacificDogwood · 25/08/2010 10:52
