I think that you lot are really uncaring and ignorant. I have read a thread where nearly all the mums have maybe a young girl feel unwanted and then went on to bitch about it.

I hope that your children become young parents so you know how it feels because you have some sort of problem with it. I think that use need to get a life and think about others. why not have a young parent section?

If it would help a lot of young parents relate to each other.

I think you all need to have a good look in the mirror.

OH by the way I love NETMUMS and the tickers Smile

Can we put up a poster of Michael Ball in the hun's cupboard, Filibear?

Could be replaced by Alan Titchmarsh tomorrow, who knows?

Tippychoocks · 24/08/2010 15:25

Well until someone joins my Hons club to plot against your Hens club, I am fighting the good fight alone. Well, I'm actually wasting the afternoon here and eating biscuits but you get my drift.

cupcakesandbunting · 24/08/2010 15:25

Actually shaking with laughter to Mommy2BubbanHun's username Grin

I think that the members of each site should stop criticising the other site. I far prefer Mumsnet, but that's my choice, and I am glad that there is a choice available to me.

If the netmummies are happier with their site, I think that is great, wish them all happiness there and hope that they find all the support, friendship and advice that they need.

I am disgusted that a netmums member thought it would be fun to start this thread - it does not give me a very good impression of her - frankly it's childish. I'm equally unimpressed by the thread that was linked to earlier in this thread - belittling another site does not make netmums and its members any better.

I would like to see an end to the sniping from the members of both sites - but am not holding my breath.

JaneS · 24/08/2010 15:26

I am PMSL at the Her Majesty among us posts. Though I think she would be on netmums - I think they're all quite dim and common, actually. Princess Di would have been a hun, you just know it.

Btw, thanks to whoever said they reckon they can tell a dyslexic poster from a plain thick/unable to write English poster. As far as I know, dyslexia doesn't cause random spasms resulting in splurges of 'hun' and 'lol' all over the keyboard.

There are a lot of judgmental, I'm all right jack, self righteous bitches on here.

But thats the internet for you, and you tend to remember bad experiences with people more then the good experiences anyway so it can cause a misinterpreted viewpoint.

Here, Staying and Ryoko.

I'm partial to a bit of Buble myself, Fili. On my non-hormonal days that is. Get him in the hun's cupboard!

We have the moral high ground y'know. And better biscuits.

JaneS · 24/08/2010 15:38

Tippy, I actually meant the royals! Blush

ryoko - really? Are we reading the same site?

cupcakesandbunting · 24/08/2010 15:39

Did NMs delete the thread because it upset one of the schnookum bunny-wunny-hunnys?

Seriously, how sensitive are these people? Don't they have a hide thread facility? Or do NMHQ decide what is upsetting for all their bubbas? Hmm

Tippychoocks · 24/08/2010 15:39

Grin did you though?

PacificDogwood · 24/08/2010 15:39

Just to let you all know that this thread has had me giggling all day, so thank you, thank you all, particularly OP for getting the ball rolling.

I almost, not quite, feel sorry for the odd poster who tries to introduce some seriousness into the proceedings GrinGrinWink.
