Am I or is my BF being UR

A friend is getting married soon, invite arrived and I was a bit surprised it was for just me and did not include DP but that is fine as I do not have to find a babysitter etc, Today I was out with a group of friends, we are all invited but it turns out everyone who is married or engaged got a plus one invite. Fine I think she is really trying to keep numbers down and I get on with all the girls DP/DH and will make them take me out dancing.
But one friend who is single and if got a plus one invite would only bring her sis, is really about the invite being for her only and wants me to not go to the wedding as she is refusing to go without a plus 1 invite. Now she is not in any type of relationship, is aware numbers need to be kept to a min. I have said I am going but she is not letting it go and has said I should not go without Dp.
This evening I have had 3 emails and 6 text msg telling me I am UR and unfair towards DP for going without him.

But if he came I would have no one to look after the DC, not sure any one would take on my menagerie children
Actually good idea Whereyouleftit she can mind the DC and Dp can come with me and carry me home

She's texting your partner now?

She's utterly out of order, honestly she is. Mummy mode definitely called for.

Tortoiese I am still up watching supernanny for tips on how to talk to her as I don't really do 'Mummy Mode' yet, I am still learning.
DP tossed the ph at me and went to bed as she kept texting when he said I would ring her tomorrow good night, he can't turn it off as he is on call tonight I am to ans it if it rings but not reply to her as he could not cope with me being upset by an argument as he is tired. Great moral support from him

Oooh - that's lovely! I'm jealous though, my boobs unfortunately didn't survive bf 2 ds, so I could never wear strapless. That and I'm jealous because I don't have ANY wedding invites this year!

You will look gorgeous when you go, and leaving dh at home with the dcs while you have a great time looking stunning is good for relationships imo.

Curlymama it is a fab dress it ties inside with a bra strap type thing that keeps everything in place and does come with detachable straps.
lol DP told me today I looked nice I was wearing a paint stained tshirt and track ends he would find fault with the dress lol

if you're ok with it then it's fine. I do, however, think it's a little odd that you didn't get a plus one when you've been in a relationship that long! I think I'd be a bit offended on my DH's half.......and he'd probably be a bit offended too. On the other hand though, it would be great to go and let my hair down without worrying about having to get back by 10 for the babysitter!

Your friend sounds a total loon obsessively texting you and then dp
be glad she's not going
some people hate weddings and look for any excuse not to go
