Initially, I intended to show the overreaction, why it was an overreaction, and that lead to how pornography being viewed by the youth is not a big deal, not that it should be legal (or that it shouldn't) but it's not a big deal, and that was what seemed to be happening in that thread. People were overly offended by something like that, that they actually believed they are "protecting" their children from pornography. Surely, it's a bit more understandable to not want a 7 - 8 year old looking at pornography, but a 14 year old? You're not "protecting" them, by any stretch of the word, you are fueling ignorance, a terrible curse among adults and young adults alike. I do not advocate that they be shown these things, I simply believe that they should not be "protected" from such. That is the point I am trying to make.
BitOfFun - Precisely, only I'm lacking the intention to actual open your eyes, as you all are clearly set in your ways, I know none of you are going to actually listen to anything I have to say, not saying in this with the intention of offending you, just stating an obvious observation. I'm more interested in pointing out the lack of logic in some of your statements, or even learn the lack of it in my own, because, you see, I am a man who is willing to hear that I am wrong, that with irrefutable proof and evidence, I will change my philosophies and ways of life. That is all.
