When I am sitting here in a cardigan contemplating putting the heating on for a couple of hours before bedtime?

The forecast for the rest of the week isn't much better.

Its only roasting in England (well it looks not bad in Wales I admit), we have a severe weather warning in Scotland for heavy rain tonight and we are into week 2 of the school holidays which have been spent mostly indoors sofar.

Oricella. Stick the heating on for good measure and you'll be able to take off your cardi as well!

it's still sunny! i've forgotton what rain looks like! mind you i'm not complaining - the washing dries faster on the line

Its blowing a bloody gale here in the north east. Was down south last week though and it was really rather hot- DP has been moaning ever since about how he really misses living in the south and how the north is so cold and miserable (there's a bit of a north south divide in our house!)

Giddypickle - we had rain today!!! My lawn still looks dead but hey at least it wont need mowing!
